Last night,I saw the news about a man who forcefully took a child's left eye from its socket. I felt sorry for the child and infuriated by the man who did the crime. According to the report, the police assumed that the perpetrator first hit the child with a strong object before taking the child's eye with his bare hands.

While watching that, I was asking myself, why would he do that to a child? then the police said that the suspect thought that the child was some sort of a frog, so does that mean that he does the same to all amphibian? The police also believes that the suspect has a mental problem.

After all that, what irked me more was the irresponsible parents. How could they let a 3 year old child go out alone at night to buy FISH BALL...!!!! What kind of parents are they...?!?! The food stand may just be outside their house but hello!, let a child go out UNSUPERVISED, how could they do that. In this day and age, a lot of people know that the streets are not a safe/secure place for children, so where were they when this reality is being faced by a lot of people? I just arrrgh, I'm just so angry...

SO who really is to blame for the child's predicament?

is it really the perpetrator?

or the irresponsible parents...?

i would think it is the perpetrator, because, yes although the parents are irrisponsible, that is no excuse for the man to take out the childs eye, he could have assisted it back to its parents house or something, if it was in danger

if the suspect indeed has mental problems.. he can be excused and sent to a correctional facility as stated by the constitution.. either way it's the parents' fault. who in their right mind would allow a child, 3yrs of age go out alone in the streets..? it's pure and simple negligence..

I'm sure the kid is in DSWD custody.
