the funniest are vegans who are pro abortion.
they feel it is acceptable to mess with human embryos, but believe that eating chicken embryos (eggs) is immoral.

Some people just tend to be conformists and follow what ever that's "in" at the moment... whereas there are genuinely opinionated and bold people who really stand up for what they think. I think you can tell the difference anyway. It's within the amount knowledge that they posses about a certain topic or idea, if it is valid and detailed enough. Also, how much understanding they have.

I couldn't help laugh when the vegan in my biology class seemed perfectly happy using rabbit blood in an experiment. She would never eat it, but she doesn't mind using it in pointless experiments we already know the results for!

but if it's an actual belief then it has nothing to do with fashion. At school, my anti-violence beliefs were very unfashionable: I was the only person to look away from a fight rather than run towards it
