I toss i turn
The water crashes over me
My mind swarming with thoughts that never could be
The light flashes
My heart skips a beat
My breathing stops for a moment
Softly whispering his name
I wait just a moment
The time has passed
And he does not show
I continue to wait
Patiently i lay
Tossin and turnin
Dreamin of him
Dreamin of the day that he will come
Until then i shall hush my never silenced heart
And watch the flutterbys pass me in the dark
As i slip into a dream and his face comes to be
And i realize he was only just a dream.
