I like Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee, but there's NO WAY IN HELL there better than Lynn Minmay. She was singing waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before they were even born!!!

Haven't heard Minmay's,so I'll go with Sheryl.Although Ranka's is really nice,it only has a slight soft,warm feeling in it.Sheryl's makes me feel confident,stronger and is really good.

Ranka for me... while she is naive, she has more determination strength and character than Minmei... Minmei was too ditzy and wishy washy for me to like (Kaifun are you KIDDING ME?) Voice wise Ranka again (Did you y'all hear her version of Ai wo Oboitemasu ka?) Then a tie between Minmei and Sheryl. Still not a big fan of Orig. Macross SDF music though... Myung Fang Long should be an honorable mention here though.... She sang only one song in Macross plus (Voices-Akino Arai) but what a song it was

Ranka Lee and Sheryl Nome are merely amalgamations of Lynn Minmay if you take time to analyze their personna's. Case and point, Lynn Minmay will always be the winner by default because she was the Pioneer. There simply is no comparison because Minmay is the benchmark on which characters of the like will be based from.

alright ppls this was a thread for who YOUR favorite singer is and why
its not a comparison on who is right and who is wrong
anybody is free to like whatever singer for whatever reason
so please don't attack and accuse people for their choice the thread is about personal opinions... not statistically who the better singer is (Though you CAN look at the poll results if you want)
i like ranka because i like ranka i dont like minmay because i dont like minmei
