before entering school, we already know how to read, write and count...

so what did we learn from school?

NO CHEATING!!! - you learn how to fully depend on yourself and never rely on to others.

1. ENGLISH - proper grammar, improve reading skills, writing skills, communication skills
2. HISTORY - being not tottaly ignorant of the past that shapes the world of today.
3. SCIENCE - physics and chemistry prepares the students who will be interested about this things??? hehe... biology- we learn how to care about our surroundings.
4. MATH - sharpens our minds especially the problem solving, analyze the situations,
5. LOGIC - a=b; b=c; therefore a=c......... the word says it all, logic
6. LAW - being aware of the laws of course
7. ACCOUNTING - managing your income and expenses.
AND SO ON....

RECITATION - helps you to fully express yourself (which eventually lead to self confidence)
PROJECTS, RESEARCH PAPERS, THESIS - planning, making strategies, surveys and interviews.

like an infant, the school teaches us how to stand on our own. it's the first step to be independent. difficult quizzes, exams and projects strengthen us. it helps us to be responsible, to discipline ourselves and to strive harder. it is the preparation for facing the real world. the real world is cruel compared to school. the school, teaches us first before giving a test but in real world, we were given a test before we learn.

It's not bitter if you think about it because education until high school is mandatory anyways. The real education comes in college and it is expensive if you want a good education. A better way to say it would be, "Education is cheap. Ignorance is expensive."
