Does anyone knows the game Onimusha 2 (Samurai's Destiny) well this story reminds me of that game specially the whole thing about Nv Wa because in that game Jubei's mother is also just like Nv Wa half human and half serpent, and theirs also the five orbs but in Samurai's Destiny it represent Charity, Respect, Honesty, Strenght, and Faith. also the symbol in his hand means he can absorb demon souls. so what do you guy's think? Does any of you find any similarities in this story?

Onimusha 1 came out in the 2000's, I don't know when 2 came out, but obviously later than that.
The game that this was based on, The Fairy and the Sword, came out in 1996...I'm pretty sure this wasn't taken from Onimusha. Nv Wa's an old Chinese legend, though the half-serpent thing is rather unique. I think the inspiration for that came from the story of the Lady White Snake, another ancient Chinese legend about a snake spirit in human form. Five orbs is common in Chinese culture because of the five element jin mu shui huo tu (metal, wood, water, fire, and earth).
