I think that day may come and the more people who consider that possibility, the more smoothly a migration to another planet will go. Of course I'm almost positive that I'll be long dead when that happens.

if it was possible i think it would have been possible now but never know if the technology improves to the point that we can live in a different planet

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind. However, if humans somehow blow themselves up or something, than it probably wont happen -- unless some survive.

You don't have to know much about where science is at right now to imagine how easy it will be to start living on another planet. It would probably take more than decades, but I'm positive that before I run out of life, there will be people living on other planets... After all, there are already some who life floating up in space. How hard is it to imagine them on a piece of rock not too far from there?

But for practical use, we're a long way from. I don't think masses of population will be living on mars or anything any time soon.

Yeah, with the advanced technology we'll have in the next thousand years or so we'll be like a SciFi show

Someday a distant Earth-like planet will be discovered. Just before our planet's time is about to end, the terran goverments will build at least one large vessel with human beings, and send it out to the Earth-like planet.

Those people left behind on Earth will have to face their impending doom.

Only those in the ships are the chosen ones who will have to plant the new seeds of humanity.

I hope so. NASA has even come up with realistic plan to go mar and turn it in to livable planet tho it be 100 years before an that become real. space station will no doubt evolved to livable colonels before that. Tech exist this that support and drive is not there yet.

yes i believe we will. not in my life time though. it will start slowly first it will be air plain flights into space then landing on the other side of the world at
then they will have to develop engines fast enough to get a large ship of humans off the ground (the us government has fuel that has the power but when it explodes its hotter than the sun so it just melts every thing around it
and it is hard to make it takes years just to make a few dozen atoms of it)
we will have to be able to terraform the new planet into one with living conditions similar to earth oxygen to nitrogen levels in the air and such

but we will be able to do it you will be long gone but i will still be here (gonna convert my brain into a cyber brain and never die
