Weird...Was Kawamori san planning to tie this in with Macross F all this time? Anyway, I'm still having a hard time trying to figure out how Zero fits in with the other Macross storylines. First off, how is the Bird Human related to the protoculture? Second, how did the humans already know about Protoculture if this take place before SDFM? I'm pretty sure no one knew what Protoculture was until much later in that series.

There was once a Brilliant and yet Crazy[so they say] Scientist who once wandered into the Mayan island. Fascinated with the ancient artifacts found on the island, he studied it and comes to a realization that somewhere before time, there was a culture far more advance than "us" humans hence he called it "ProtoCulture". He was the first one to discover about the power and the secret hidden on the blood of the Mayan Songstress.

Macross Zero was a prelude to all Macross Saga. That's why it has a lot to do with the upcoming episodes.

Who was this scientist? I never heard of him and I watched all things that are Macross so far. So I guess the people aboard the original Macross may have never heard of them although it was discovered before that. Anyway, thanks for the info.

Dr. Hasford:The Anti-UN scientist who theroises that intelligent life on Earth might have originated off world from the Protoculture, a race of ancient aliens that all intelligent life in the galaxy decends from.

EDIT:the child you see looking at the altar with sheryl's earrings is actually mao nome, who becomes a scientist in the 117th research fleet together with grace o'connor.

Yes the other scientist is indeed Ranka´s mother, her name is Ranshe, but I dont know her surname ( and it isn´t Lee since that´s Ozma surname) , and if you look in the back, there is a cilinder with a vajra inside of it.
Has anyone noticed that the AA-destroids of Macross Quarter are indentical to the AA destroids of the aricraft carrier Azuka II of the UN spacey ( the main carrier of the Zero series). I mean , how many years have passed since Zero incident to the Frontier time , like 60 years, and the AA destroids haven´t had any mayor changes. Its like the meltran Quadlauns ( well their operational life is like 500 years)

i think there is a mishap in your info there...

Megaroad 01 was the first colonial ship to sail across the vast galaxy and the their destination is the center of our Galaxy... The Colonial Ship was awarded to Admiral Misa Hayase-Ichijyu, while Admiral Hikaru Ichijyu is leading the Famous Skull Squadron and Lynn Minmay is also aboard. The Megaroad-01 set out towards the center of the galaxy in 2012. However in July 2016, barely four years into its voyage toward the center of the Milky Way, all contact with the fleet abruptly ceased. Megaroad 01 is NOT part of Fleet 7... it was only depicted on the Opening of Macross Frontier to introduce it to the Other viewers to have a speculation and leads them to further research about the history of Macross...

Hmm... it might give a clue that Megaroad-01 is still on active duty despite of Communication problems...

That reminds me, I'm so ticked that they decided to cancel the series that was supposed to take place right after SDFM. As much I hate Robotech (No offense to those who are Robotech fans), I have to admit that what you said about what happened to Megaroad 1 sounds very similar to what happened in Sentinals.

And about that Anti-UN scientist, I'm guessing he helped develop the first Valkryes that the Anti-UN forces were using? It's ironic that it was them that helped along everything that Earthlings got afterward.

Of course the VFs are ugly in that "season" of Robotech. It was never supposed to be the same show to begin with.

if the license holder really did follow the tradition of Macross, then the show should have the same title! Because of the alteration of many subjects, they branched into another parrallel universe in order to stay away from "infringments"!

OK just wondering if you have read Breanan's stuff on Licensing? Or perhaps my quick story that is on the Fav Macross Ship page's?

What you can read on those pages will totally explain the history of Macross and Robotech. Well I guess that is until the current stuff you can read now. After that it is all totally null in void to the current material that hits us hard.

Hit us up soon hun!!!!
