Try "dirty ice cream" too ; It `s not really dirty , it `s just ice cream sold on the streets & it `s fairly delicious ! Also the rancid smell of the durian , don `t be fooled by it `s nasty smell , it has a delicious taste (: Tagaytay is also a beautiful place to visit with it `s cooling temperatures and beautiful Volcano .

Also, if your looking for other foodstuff, their SUTUKIL (sugba, tinola, kinilaw) is to die for. The place also hosts one of the most pristine beaches in the Philippines. Go to the island of Mactan and you'll have a seaside experience like no other. Worrying about the accommodation? You shouldn't. Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 6/9/08 it would be best if you first knew in which part of the philippines you're going to and what kind of experience you want to have, then you can easily tell which places you should visit... the more popular tourist spots are bohol, cebu, boracay, palawan, baguio, subic... but i don't suggest you go to baguio if you're after the cool air, it is now too populated and boracay if you're after a serene walk on the beach..
