lol you won't learn your lesson in procrastinating...once a procrastinator always a procrastinator

jk well ne way I think the news nowadays only exists for entertainment purposes. If you look at fox news, you'll notice theres nothing there worth mentioning (they did some news reports on an anime convention and maplestory once )

ahh well, i'm a well known procrastinator at skool anyway. if i didn't procrastinate..ppl would think i'm sick!

the news nowadays are almost all the same..and what makes it worse is that they cover up a lot of stuff! i think they forgot that the purpose of having news is for us to know stuff that goes on. not to make a person look good or anything.

To answer your question - News is more effective in the UK because TV broadcasters are under law to remain political neutral therefore they are far more reliable then say Fox News or CNN in the US who are allowed to sway towards being liberalist or conservative.
However, newspapers are allowed to be biased so you need to be careful when reading them.
I read the Times and Sunday Times who are sightly biased in support of the Conservative Party in the UK, a party which I do not support hence I do agree with some of its views but I read it anyway because it is one of the most reliable papers in the UK...don't even get me started on the Sun.

And yes I care about the news. It comes around to affect us somehow no matter how far away the news is happening.

the way news spread nowadays is effective. we got enough details. we care about it (especially news that has big impact on our well being like oil prices, tornado warning, ect).
And getting news from internet is good. internet is about the only place left where information can escape censorship/block.

News = Propaganda

And don't get me started on Fox, heaps of the stuff they show isn't newsworthy at all, and a fair bit seems like it's just made up.
News shows are there to makemoney remember, they show stories they think will get them lots of views, even if it's not important, or accurate.

I love the news, i never taught i would like it enough not to sleep over it. But chances are youll be depress watching the news, but in other cases, reading, reading news is nearly as factual as it is delivered, because in prints journalist are nifty about issues.
Internet news is questionable, rather popular are blogs that deliver issues as derive from the bloggers opinion, nothing much there.

Most news articles nowadays are biased and based on sensational journalism. The truth is oftentimes covered to make way for more intriguing falsities.
