You're right about that Lara Croft chick (Am drooling, just thinking about her right now...) and that in the latter chapters it still goes down for the Tokyo team to clean the Mess of those from Osaka...

And I agree that Kei will be revived but am not sure if this will be after they defeated the nurarihyon...
Just remembered, It also took them forever to finish the arc on angry demons, the part where kato died... So am guessing that the writer has the option to finish this arc and introduce a new character (probably Muscle man will be replaced) just to give a little twist to our expectations, same way I felt when Kato was killed after a long and grueling battle....

I don't think that Kei can be revived if he died in the assault(there is a low chance he survived the attack), he wasn't in the Gantz game anymore, so he would have died as normal human.

Izumi can be revived that way because he is on the memory list if Gantz like that motorcycle guy, who died while fighting against the gang.(The only flaw is that he has been identified as only corpse and was on TV)

I guess the 2nd phase is called catastropge for certain reason.
Maybe only 1 will survive this mission.
After putingt the Tokyo and Osaka team together and the results appear there isn't a Kei picture, so Kato will revive Anzu if he gets the 100 points.

At last the arc seems to be finished this week(due spoilers), it took over 1.5 years and I was thinking that it was Oku's creativity had a black-out.
He still can use greek/northern/egyptian mythology, vodoo aliens or create some kind of robotaliens.

It was also disappointhing that "Tengu" and "Kitsune" died within 2 chapters without showing much skills(Tengu summored some low score monsters and Kitsune showed some close combat)

I don't think that it will happen that Kato dies again because the next chapter is called Climax.
But Gantz lives of being unpredictable who thought that the 700+ pointer(who killed a 100 pointer 1 time) would have died.

A nice climax will be if Nuri is pissed of after Katos H-Gun attack and uses a selfdestruction/explosion ability to kill everybody within certain range. His ball attack has been showed something similar.

Then the only Kaze, Takeshi , Sherry, Reika(All could be far away enough), female vampire, Sakurai(if he survived the Behemothform), Nobu, Perv and the 2 girls would have got a chance to survive.
Kyou could have survived the blast but it's unlike.

Nishi, Nerd, Inaba and Bald Dude would have died because they were close to the bridge.
