The forums would probably be a little better had CR points not been implemented.

Yes they do encourage spamming but I really doubt that the most of the big spammers dont spam because they will go up in CR points but for other reasons

CR points mean absolutely nothing. Once you have 20 you're set... *shrugs* It seems like msot people think the more you have the better you are (as a contributer to the site, supporter, or popularity) where in fact, having more points doesn't mean any of that. *shrugs again*

Umm....I said faults............akward

Yeah, faults = flaws. Unless you speak some weird version of English... I never liked the word faults so I replaced it with flaws. Sorry if that confused you.

No they're not

perhaps before you say I speak weird english maybe you should use the dictionary

Main Entry: 1flaw
Pronunciation: 'flo
Function: noun
Etymology: of Scandinavian origin; akin to Norwegian flaga gust, squall
1 : a sudden brief burst of wind; also : a spell of stormy weather
2 obsolete : an outburst especially of passion

Main Entry: 1fault
Pronunciation: 'folt, in poetry also 'fot
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English faute, falte, from Anglo-French, from Vulgar Latin *fallita, from feminine of fallitus, past participle of Latin fallere to deceive, disappoint
1 obsolete : LACK
2 a : WEAKNESS, FAILING; especially : a moral weakness less serious than a vice b : a physical or intellectual imperfection or impairment : DEFECT c : an error especially in service in a net or racket game
3 a : MISDEMEANOR b : MISTAKE
4 : responsibility for wrongdoing or failure <the accident was the driver's fault>
5 : a fracture in the crust of a planet (as the earth) or moon accompanied by a displacement of one side of the fracture with respect to the other usually in a direction parallel to the fracture
- at fault
1 : unable to find the scent and continue chase
2 : open to blame : RESPONSIBLE <couldn't determine who was really at fault>
- to a fault : to an excessive degree <precise to a fault>
synonyms FAULT, FAILING, FRAILTY, FOIBLE, VICE mean an imperfection or weakness of character. FAULT implies a failure, not necessarily culpable, to reach some standard of perfection in disposition, action, or habit <a writer of many virtues and few faults>. FAILING suggests a minor shortcoming in character <being late is a failing of mine>. FRAILTY implies a general or chronic proneness to yield to temptation <human frailties>. FOIBLE applies to a harmless or endearing weakness or idiosyncrasy <an eccentric's charming foibles>. VICE can be a general term for any imperfection or weakness, but it often suggests violation of a moral code or the giving of offense to the moral sensibilities of others <compulsive gambling was his vice>.

In the case I was pointing out, I meant fault as in mistake or misdeameanor.
This didn't have the definition of "flaw" that I was looking for which is the same you meant, but the difference us a fault is an action and a flaw is a problem in ones character.....its my "fault" for posting this right now....its my "flaws" that make me continue to commit "faults" and Im probably gonna regret this now, but if you honestly brag about being a computer major you should probably fail, go back to the fifth grade and learn the difference between a "fault" and a "flaw" I admit this is my flaw. Not being able to stop when there is no point in this pointless arguement because I prefer to be right then have friends. You however are a moron and as much as I tried to hold back, I couldnt help it. Now I am no longer looking in this thread anymore so dont bother posting a reply to my statement as it is probably an attempt just to show others that you are right instead of proving anything to me. I know Im wrong for saying that Krazy was bitching. We're wrong for leading this thread into an argument. I am wrong for continuing this. You can post a reply, but I wont see it.

Ahh, connotation is completely different from definition. Obviously dumb means mute (you cannot speak), but I guarentee most people don't use it in that way. Its the way things evolve over the English language. Another classic example is "gay" which used to mean happy now means homosexual, but there are still countless people that use its original meaning. Connotation is everything.

Plus, I'm saying its a flaw in your life style, implications are major things too. You don't use "that" and "the" everytime you should because its implied. I could go back into what you've wrote and probably find a sentence or two that prove that.

Also, re-reading your post, you're saying that you cannot be right and have friends? And I never bragged about being a comp-sci major. I said thats what I do, and that I know what I'm talking about for that portion. In my opinion there is no job in the world worth bragging about unless you're putting your life on the line for someone else's. Also, you may not read this or reply like you said, but I honestly don't get how this is an arguement. I'm not trying to fight with you. In my mind this is a debate. I'm not getting mad and throwing my mouse at the computer or something... I don't dislike you, I'm just stating what I believe to be as fact. But honestly, backing out of a conversation becuase you think this "arguement" is getting no where is fine, but if you think this whole converastion is wrong I really don't know what to say. *shrugs* But hey, you're probably not going to read this anyway, so who cares, right?
