Being logical is way more important than being some emotional retard. if you think about things logically, you tend not to as many stupid things. Social skills are not important at all, well not to me anyway.

I get what your saying, but it just seems like when someone is a very logical person they get treated like there weird.
Like for me if i use logic and actually think people find it weird, but if i act like an airhead it's not as weird..
So it seems that people with more emotional intelligence can go futhur in life sometimes cause of making connections and such, like the best person isn't always given credit....

Well they look at us weird because they themselves are incapable if independent though, they are just the mindless drones that society wants them to be, not once questioning there actions or beliefs. And logical person would look at a situation and ask,"Do I really want to do this ?" while they simply do it without question, I mean just look at all the fashion whores, they wear whatever the fashion designers want them to without question, regardless of price. They are nothing more than mindless drones. While you or me would look at that, and ask, Well this pair of jeans is 50$ do I really need to buy it ? I still have other stuff I need to get, that's more important than looking like everyone else. as for social-stuff, I don't really give a damn how other people view me, so I don't hold back on swearing or sexual or age appropriate comments just because I'm around young children. But that's just me. Most people think I'm a plain jerk, but that's also because instead of telling a lie when someone ask me a question like "Does this make me look fat" Instead of saying "Nah, You look alright" I be honest and say "Yeap, It makes you look fat, but that's only because you are fat, otherwise you wouldn't look fat in that" So people tend not to like me. But I don't really care anyway.

I have never seen the point in people asking others to choose between extremes, when it is obvious that practically speaking, one is better off having both qualities of both extremes. Even if you're asked to chose one or the other, it's not like intelligence or emotions are concrete objects that can be easily disposed of. Intelligence and emotions are a given in an individual... there is no point in asking which one is more important, because they are equally vital in your so called "life".

Plus, make a poll next time, not a VS thread.
