Daily Expressions:
1.Ohayoo gozaimasu *Good Morning*
2. Konnichiwa *Good Afternoon*
3. Konbanwa *Good Evening*
4. Hajimemashite *How do you do?*
5. Doozo yoroshiku *I'm glad to meet you*
6. desu = is used for english be-verbs (is, am, are) and always places at the end of a sentence.
7. Watashi wa aya1989 desu = I am aya1989.
8. Anata wa aya1989 desu = you are aya1989
9. Kare wa (boy's name) desu = he is (boy's name).
10. Kanojo wa aya1989 = she is aya1989.
11. "san" = it is an horrofic suffix used after a personal name, irrespective of gender.
example: Tani-san = Mr. Tani / Mrs. Tani / Ms. Tani
12. isha = doctor
13. ha-isha = dentist
14. kangfo = nurse
15. gishi = engineer
16. driver = untenshu
17. shufu = housewife
18. musician = ongakuka (music = ongaku)
19. gakusei = student
20. gakusha = scholar
21. teacher = sensei
22. denshita = past tense of desu *was,were...etc*
23. dewa arimasen = present negative of desu *not*
24. dewa arimasen denshita = past tense of dewa arimasen.
25. ka = is an interrogative *?*

Sample Sentences:
1. Are you a Teacher? = Anata wa sensei desu ka.
2. Is he Mr. tanaka? = Kare wa Tanaka-san desu ka.
3. She is not a student. = Kanojo wa gakusei dewa arimasen.
4. I am a student. = Watashi wa gakusei desu.
5. She was a doctor. = Kanojo wa isha denshita.

How are you? - Ogenki desu ka? (Not literally the same in meaning but has the same expression)

What's your name? - Onamae wa nan desu ka?

Thank you - Arigatou gozaimasu.

Have a nice day - This is not really said commonly. =\

NOTE: The 'O' in Ogenki and Onamae are added to expresses respect. They're called Honorific O's.
