So I've been having a big hype over this movie for the past week and it's still going strong. I just found it a little odd that it beat Beowulf... But then again, we practically lived through our lives reading that book at least once. I was thinking about seeing it tonight, but I decided to just wait on DVD. At the moment, No Country for Old Men will be released on Tuesday in Texas and I plan to see that movie with other friends instead of Beowulf.

I'm not too much into the whole mythical genres in live-action films in my opinion, I simply love movies that have mystery, action that are necessary, and logic behind it all (not things like, hey, I'm going to blow up something important out of the country and get away from it).

I'm torn... I don't think Beowulf looks good at all.... but Niel Gaimen did the screenplay so I don't see how it could turn out bad... I think I'm going to see how reviews turn out before I make any effort to see it.

I dunno what to think about Beowulf. I heard that it was good, then I also heard it was bad. The CG doesn't look bad. But I guess the best way to watch it is in IMAX. I might wait until the dvd is out too.

If you know how Hollywood, you best remember that they will usually never aim to be as accurate as the book. Hollywood are your business people, they want to sell out as much as possible so they change it drastically for the most part. So as long as you understand that, the movie should be a nice thriller in my opinion.

But I'm all down for No Country for Old Men, omg... The trailer was just simply wicked. I saw the "redband" trailer for it and it was just well brought out to catch my eye. I don't know about you, but that was one of the few trailers that I actually opened my mouth to say anything; all I said was, "Wow."

I hate Beowolf.

With a passion.

I saw 13th warrior and it was ok.. I didn't watch the next one.. what was it called? With the name of the monster as the title? And I refuse to see this one. First off, 3D has not taken the necessary leaps in order for me to be drawn to it. Second, I hate Beowolf and will not support further productions of that unmitigated piece of crap epic poem.

I liked the part where he always say "I am BEOWULF~!!!" lolz

I'm not really interested in seeing it, as it looks nothing like the epic anglo-saxon poem Beowulf.
