I came to the U.S. 7 yrs ago so I pretty suck at both Vietnamese and English. My Vietnamese and English vocabulary level (maybe I know more about English eheh) are almost the same. I have an Asian accent when I speak English, but no accent when speaking Vietnamese (yep yep i'm proud). But I prefer talking and writing in English. I can speak different Vietnamese dialects, but I prefer speaking central Vietnam dialect since that's where I was born.

I speak English good, but sometimes my best friend thinks the way I talk is like I don't know to fast? xD well something like that. It's not because of a viet accent it's just a WA accent (guess what state I'm in!!lol)xDD But sometimes when I speak Vietnamese, my voice gets a little higher(I think) I don't know why...does that ever happen to you guys? ^ ^'
