Kazuya Minekura! I absolutely loved the Saiyuki series.

Damn, it's really tough to pick one.
But one that tops my list is Ogure Ito (Oh!Great). Initially he drew hentai, and over the years like many mangakas went into epic artist mode and made their work even more freaking awesome.
I don't care about the other styles as much, but damn, I look at some of the two page covers he has blows my mind away. There are others out there that can do the same quality of detail and density of the images as he can, but his genres fit more to my style. I also love his fluidity in his characters, but the story's just slow. I'll leave it like that to make me keep wanting more.
I want to be able to draw like him anyway. Genius.

matsuri hino - i liked how she drew vampire knight and wanted. she really had a fine eye and patience for details, plus she can change her style to fit into the story's mood.
ayane ukyo - she's really very good with faces and expressions. clear, balanced lines, easy on the eyes. plus, her bishounens are really drop-dead gorgeous! i like desire climax best of all her works.
kayono - her art in butterfly night was really breathtaking...like an erotic painting. arousing, but not vulgar. id love to be able to draw costumes like that.
park so hee - of all the manhwa's i've read, i think her art style in goong is the best. all those royal court robes! and she doesn't scrimp on the background details.
