hahas, actually that hasn't happened to me, yet... i get really intense when im watching stuff, i like to 'fully immerse' myself into the storyline, so yeah, never actually thought about the camera work in the background... though most of this can be credited to the actors themselves - the chemistry and acting helps heaps

lmao, other times i get so into dramas that i feel as if im peering through a window of their life unnoticed... hahahs, im weird >.<

Ok as u can understand from the topic .. it explains itself .. this has been going on with me since last month .. when i saw the making of the "Coffee Prince" .. it's amazing but i have this problem since then .. it's driving me crazy .. i can't watch anything at the moment ..

it's like when i see them acting .. i feel like there is a huge filming crew behind this scene .. like if the girl and the boy are together alone .. i'm thinking like .. oh well there is a camera infront of them and a bunch of people are filming them .. and i lose interest in the scene and concentrate on the movement of the camera

the same goes for animes .. i feel like it's all drawings .. nothing real !!!!

So do u face the same problem ?!! >> i dont think so

how can i get red of those thoughts ?!!!!!

I never start thinking of those things until after I see stupid mistakes in a shot- like when a boom (*the fuzzy mic they hang over the actors to pick up dialogue- and supposedly OUT of the shot...*) swinging into the corner shot, or a scene when you can tell that a seen has been chopped up into little pieces because the actors hair looks better from one shot to the next, or their clothes are slightly different, or a hair clip suddenly goes missing out of the actresses hair (*i notice crap like this all the time*). or when a character is supposed to be like a professional ballerina, or something- and they dance like crap, so they keep on filming like one pirouette from fifteen different angles to hide the fact that they suck, then I think "Gee, they should've fired that girl's dance instructor.."
but usually I don't let it effect me for more than like five seconds. and it's funny, b/c I've done productions/tech work for school projects before (*short films/music videos...*), so I've been on that end of it before. i think it's because i like to not think about it when I'm watching the drama...so I just don't. (*shrugs*) as far as fixing it? may just find a reaaally good drama. sometimes when I watch mediocre dramas, my eyes are more drawn to the stupid mistakes b/c the plot is boring. and watch dramas with a more naturalistic approach to filming- like instead of taiwanese dramas, that do the fifteen-camera-angles-fifteen-times-an-episode thing, find a non-manga based japanese drama (* they tend to be better at that*) - or a Korean drama with that natural/easy feel to the filming, like Coffee Prince (*although ,admittedly, coffee prince is a find*) Korean dramas are alot better about not going overboard on the changing camera angles every five seconds.

WoW girl ur really something .. u took me to a totally different way of thinking hehehe .. i never thought of those chopping pieces in a one scene .. but ur right .. sometimes they do some mistakes .. like in "Witch Yoo Hee" in the last 2 ep .. the actor had a car accident and in the next ep he was actually driving that same car ..

u know yesterday i was thinking like .. how many time did they study the scenario and i was like imagining them reading the scenario b4 shooting .. i have a mind blowing now .. i'm thinking too much i guess

hahaha- Witch Yoo Hee....if that was the ONLY mistake they had made in WYH, then I would've been happy. but they like...gave up on the plot towards the end. that that pissed me off, b/c that show had alot of potential to be really good, initially.

lol. yeah. I notice all of those weird things.

yah actually i noticed lots of things in that show .. like when she lost her cellphone and stayed the whole night with him .. and the next day pingo .. The cellphone was in her hand and she called him back

the show could've been better if they consider the audience feelings and didn't think of us as idiots

yah tell me about coincidences .. it's like somebody is forcing them to be in the same place at the same time regardless of the fact that they actually hate each other <<< "there is a drama to be done duh :D"

I can deal with coincidences, and the unreality of running into someone like sixteen hundred different times just so the main characters can have interaction. maybe it's because I can deal with the underlying "fate" of dramas- I mean, you know they're going to get together in the beginning, right, which, quite honestly, rules out reality completely(* I mean, srsly, know one knows who's going to end up w/ who in real life*). Which is why most of us like dramas-call it escapism, but who expects to see reality on TV?. but in my opinion- if I"m going to accept coincidence as a plot device- than I need coincidencesto be somewhat less cliche- or , if they are going to be cliche, than at least let them be cleverly tied into the plot, and know be random moments thrown in elongate the episodes, so the drama will show longer. Pointless cliches in dramas are the absolute worst. ugh. they strip me of my ability to have an imagination with a drama. I mean, if you think about it- most of the dramas you really love are the ones with really deeply portray characters- ones where (*when the actor is good*) you picture what might be running through their mind at a particularily suspenceful moment- what they might be feeling. That requires "imagination" - an emotional/empathetic kind, but imagination none the less. I think the dramas that really draw me in are the ones that give me lots of those characters- together- and give them a dynamic to work with. in that kind of drama, you can through in all the cliches you want, and i'll let them pass by, b/c I'm concentrating on the characters and their responses to one another.

lol. long winded once again.

srsly. insulting the viewers intelligence with nonsensical plotdevice, is like slapping yourself in the face with a fish- its smelly, and it stings- and everyone will laugh at the fact that you slapped yourself in the face- not because you were clever for doing it- just because you were stupid, and slapped yourself in the face with a fish. AKA- pointless idiocy.
