I have a Welsh accent but I've come across people who think I sound Scouse (Liverpool dialect)!

I have a mixture of American and English spoken dialect. I can speak both normally, but just choose one to pass the time. Being brought up by an English family and all....

I love the cockney accent, am working on getting a normal British accent right now but I'd love to be able to talk slang propperly hehe.

For me it cam naturally, I've always had a ear for accents and can imitate them pretty good, just watch BBC alot and imitate their pronounciation

When someone calls you "mate" about four times in one sentence, it's kinda annoying. Some english accents get on my nerves. Northern accent is my favourite

It's alright, i come across teachers who have british accents before. Even though i don't really understand what they are saying sometimes.

Huh. Anyone heard the Geordie accent? (Newcastle/North East England ish) thats my accent it's a bit strange apparently it has very similar sounds to Scandinavian languages... so maybes it comes from Scandinavians settling in the North??

I love the Geordie accent
Mine sucks, it's kinda brummy, yet not all the way there, since I live in Solihull (outskirts of Birmingham)

First time for everything, I guess! I hate my accent... Ick. I cringe so much when I hear my voice on recordings/videos!! Any other accent is good!
