True.

But it becomes a bit too much when many of the petals fly into your mouth when the wind blows.

Did anyone die because he/she got choked to death by a sakura petal? That would be Wow. O.O

ofcourse, i have seen cherry blossom since i have some cherry trees in my yard. Actually i also have aplle trees, pera trees, plum trees and manny more so i have the chance to admire dieffernt blossoms (white, red, pink) in differnt times in spring. But i have to say thought, the aplle blossoms are the ones that smells the best of all. And remember the more blossoms ther is the more fruits will be later on.

(Note: Searched for cherry blossom(s), cherry, blossom(s), and sakura, but found no duplicates (If I am wrong, then it is my pleasure to be assisted by removing this thread). This is not placed in 'Extended Discussion' for I deem that this topic cannot accumulate to such.)

The cherry blossom (sakura) is Japan's unofficial national flower. It has been celebrated for many centuries and holds a very prominent position in Japanese culture.

There are many dozens of different cherry tree varieties in Japan, most of which bloom for just a couple of days in spring. The Japanese celebrate that time of the year with hanami (cherry blossom viewing) parties under the blooming trees.

Sakura is indigenous to the Himalayas, including northern India, and to east Asian states such as China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Japan has a wide variety of sakura; well over 200 cultivars can be found there. Many were artificially hybridized or grafted by Japanese horticulturalists centuries ago.

The cherry blossom also represents various things; from beauty to nobility.

Today, cherry blossoms can also be found in US, Germany, Canada and some other western countries.

Have you ever seen a cherry blossom? Do you want to see one or have one? What can you say about cherry blossoms? Please discuss any related and affiliated facts about cherry blossoms.

Topic Reason:
Nothing. It is good to inform things about nature rather than talk about topics such as virginity and whatsoever.

NOT so FUN Facts:

~ Japan gave 3,020 to the U.S. in the year 1912 to celebrate the nations' then-growing friendship.

~ A province in Western Philippines, Palawan, serves as home to an endemic Palawan Cherry Blossoms, which appears to resemble that of Japan's, thus the name.
