So, for the 3rd through 5th phrases do we have to worry about gender or rank/station? Or can we use these phrases for all people?

I noticed that there are a lot of Germans (me too) in the world of crunchyroll so I thought maybe you guys might be interested in learning this language.

you can post lists with german words with the english translation.
if you have a question just ask me!

here is my list:

ich heiße _____(own name)= my name is ____
hallo = hello
wie geht es dir?=how are you
mir geht es gut=i´m fine
wo kommst du her?=where are you from
ich komme aus__________(country or name of your town)= i´m from______
schlecht=bad
schön=beautiful
hässlich=ugly

OMG thank you! I'm going to Germany in Sept and have only one thing i can say in German! (which i should never use in public >.>)

What does Gunish Geinish mean? Or something like that. Some german friend of mine kept saying that.

sounds weird....maybe he said gar nicht or gar nich
in which context did he said this??

I have no idea. What does those two mean? Or what could they possibly mean in different usages?

you can use it in different ways
for example if you ask...dunno...Can you do this..../speak....... then you can say gar nicht its like "not at all" its a german slang so its difficult to say. but i think when he had said this he meant not at all :)

Oh, I see. Thank you. XD

Well nice idea..but it's hard to learn german from just reading the words...you need some native German to actually *hear* the pronunciation

Most Not-german have problems with the umlauts and the *ch*..even Phil Collins had a hard time with *Ich* und *Dich*
