I remember him attacking her, but everyting else is in a blur (and I really don't have the time to peek in the manga, can't really remeber the chapter). :D Rima's Alive. But shes in a bed waiting till she heals. And it doesnt really show what happens to Shiki after Rido gets into his form. ;x as to shiki, i remember takuma carrying him back to their room. he was unconscious. its on chapter 38, i think. after that there wasn't any update. maybe on the future chapters?

Juuri says so herself in one of the flashbacks thought it was 35 but I was just looking and can't find it exactly now. Anyway, Juuri tells him... "You never became our cute child." And then later Kaname himself saying he wasn't born Yuuki's older brother, but that Rido awakened him from the grave. We also know that Rido took Haruka's and Juuri's first child. What happened with that child, we don't know. I just assumed that he put a different soul into Kaname's body. EDIT: Found what I was looking for. Chapter 38 page 17 and it's actually Haruka who says it not Juuri.

The manga can be difficult to understand sometimes because the panels are a little messy at times (yeah all that action packed nonsense!! but you got to love it ;D)

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 6/17/08 okayzero is not a pure blood no matter how many pureblods blood he has drank you have to be born a vampire to be a pure blood....... and kaname is still the same kaname he was just dead and brought back to life yukki had all her memories erased by their mother and father and any trace of vampire in her her parents died trying to save her and they left her to kaname.... and kaname awakended her vampire instincts ...... they were betrothed from the begining

Like what a few others have pointed out in some posts above, the current body of Kaname is Yuuki's real brother's body, but the current soul of Kaname is not. That soul was reawakened by Rido, which is why Kaname cannot kill him. @Sesshys-Angel; Yeah that was one sad part. Ichiru's not THAT bad in the end, haha. @richellelovesyou; Yes, Yuuki is a pure-blood. Her real name is Kuran Yuuki, daughter of Kuran Haruka and Kuran Juuri, and sister of Kaname. She was born to be betrothed to Kaname to keep the Kuran family bloodline pure. (Off-topic: This is so much better than homework =X)

(Off-topic: This is so much better than homework =X) All true, but you put it so nicely, everytime I try to say the same thing I get all mixed up in explaining which ends up more confusing :) The only thing I presume is that the soul which is in Kaname's body is the soul of the first vampire (the Kuran's ancestor). I don't remember exactly where, but somewhere in the first several chapters Chairman says something about that ancestor (1st vampire) to Kaname... (off-topic: I think I really have to read the manga all over again lol. Studying isn't that interesting, and having a life is overrated )

THIS IS SOME TWISTED BUT SOME GOOD STUFF~! rather exciteing teehee ty very much ill have to go over it OMG I so agree with you! Vampire Knight is the most twisted story I've read so far. But it's that twisted sence that draws people to it. I mean, if VP was just some high school girl-crush novels then I know I definitely won't read it. I love the story line so much, I think I'm corrupting myself with it... Whatever that means.
