I've always been a worrywart. But now, I'm learning to take things easy and laughing it off. Overall, I've become more optimistic.

When I experience stress, I just go watch some Gintama and I'll feel better instantly. It's easier to make the right decisions if you're feeling content. I find that you can achieve more when you approach things with the right attitude instead of over-thinking everything. =D

5.To run over someone who has hemeroids is very painful when asking for your jump back!!
6.Ninja's use curry as a weapon.!!
7.Gintoki & Toshirou are best friends =D!!
8.The Barabarosa shogun created Hijikata's Mayo Special!!!
9.The Sandwhich shogun created the Gintoki's Uji-Gintoki!!
10.Strawberry milk makes you pee in your pants at night!
11.It also makes you climb down the stairs of manhood!!
12.Strawberry Milk is a miracle elixir!!
13.Beetles cost a lot of money!
14.Beware of the conveyer belt!!

I have similar experiences otae_san!
I laugh out loud much more nowadays, and well, maybe don't mind so much what anyone thinks of that.
Shrugging crappy things off with a smile... definitely thankyousomuch Hideaki Sorachi!!

And to have a inner smile that matches the outer one and vice versa, such an awesome feeling

I guess the main thing I've learned from this anime is to take things less seriously and try to live a little, things will find a way of working out on their own somehow..

oh,yeah, and that Samurais don't have to always be serious + cooler than ninjas

I've come to realize that Gintama fans tend to have a much better sense of humor than non-Gintama anime fans. This is a fact!

Gintma does effect my life a lot!!! people around me seems more scared of me than before. Since I watch it at the office, I have to cover my laugh with cough all the time (they must think i have weird disease). Everytime I stuck in the jam, i will rewatch gintama scene (in my mind) and lol alone (i get weird glance all the time)

but yeah, agree with everyone, i becoming more happier n less stress. who cares what other people think anyway...hehe

n for some weird reason, i feel like drink strawberry milk everytime i see it.

:D Same here! whenever I go to school, I can't help but blurt out funny stuff I watch from Gintama....people thinks I'm nut....Also, in many subjects, my works start to reflect the madness in me...ex:

Design technology: I created a keychain written 'Elizabeth'
History:
I started attaching Elizabeth pictures to my creative work.
Mother language: I wrote an article with headline: 'How to watch loads of animes and maintain your good grade at the same time.'
Second language: I wrote a pun - copying a joke from Gintama.
I was quite certain I did pull Gintama into associating with Math, Science and Music as well but I can't remember what I did...TT

yah, and I use to hate strawberry milk so much...but right now...after watching Gintama....I really want to drink a gallon.

Affected my life...Well, I get more people staring at me when I walk on the streets. Sometimes reliving the last episode you've watched in your head while surrounded by people is not something you should do: it makes you break into laughter when people least expect it. Especially if you're walking alone...

Second, I see strawberry milk as a godly beverage now. I liked it before I watched the series, but I never really paid much attention to it...After hearing Gin-chan rambling about its goodness, it sort of brought to light how wonderful it really is. I'm infatuated with strawberries and anything strawberry flavored now.

Third, my once 'omglifesuckstheworldshouldend' thoughts have suddenly vanished. Watching Gintama made me become carefree about life. I see things pretty simple now, making it easier for me to find simple solutions to every hard problem. Optimism has become a quality of mine.

Fourth, humor-upgrade. Haha. I totally agree with fukujinzuke.

Lastly, the sadism is contagious.

Oh yeah, and I'm totally into Katsurap now. Lol. Sorachi Hideaki is truly a genius~

i have learned the following:
it is perfectly acceptable to kill someone who has spilled your dessert or taken the last shonen jump

"foolish embarrassment narrows your horizons so let's act dumb"

lollipops will smoke if they are lollilollied enough

idiots can get any job, no matter how much precision is required for it (see: oniwabanshu, shinsengumi, jouishishi, sakamoto)

it's not zura it's katsura

the title says it all: "even cute things are creepy when there's a lot of them"

actually, the titles themselves are golden bits of wisdom

strawberry milk can make anything all better

hijikata is @%^# awesome

i will forever more make testicle jokes (well...the anime wasn't the only factor in that...)
i drink strawberry milk now
i know obscure cultural facts about japan
i will regard mayonnaise as the highest dairy product
spicy food sort of makes me sad now (mitsuba)
i have taken it upon myself to become even more lazy and gluttonous
i'm trying to find a DOES album
i have gained many new catch phrases

in a semi-related note, i have learned to never go past page 5 in a google image search of 'hijikata okita'.

before, i thought my lifes going to be sooooo boring because there are only few anime that i know.. then i found the dvd of gintama racked up a anime store, i immediately grabbed it and watched it at home....THANK GOD I MET HIJIKATA TOUSHIRO AND GINTOKI SAKATA. they always complete my day...

i learned that there are many things in life that shouldn't be taken seriously (or else i'll end up like shinpachi just like what santoryou-san daid)..and i also appreciated the value of teamwork, camaraderie and friendship...hahah. they rock my world...
