I wasnt surprised for some reason.

Americans killed 200,000+ Filipinos during the Spanish-American war in the Philippines. That is even greater than the Japanese and the Spanish kills combined. Yet, did you ever learn anything about that war in school? Philippines also helped the Americans during WWII and helped them get the secret ploys of the Japanese, yet, why are there so many American children prejudiced of Filipinos?

Have you seen "My Father"? Its a Korean movie. And in it, an American soldier dissed a Korean soldier by saying something about his "kimchi" smell which probably what most American soldiers in Korea do in reality.

It's not just those soldiers. Many Americans act like those.

Anyhow, have you seen the CNN report about North Korea? The moment I saw that video, I was thinking, "BIASED!" North Korea may not be that great, but I felt that the report was telling people who are watching it of how much the North Koreans hate Americans. Wouldnt that be the same as the North Korean leaders who are telling their people of how much Americans hate them?

I couldn't finish the video, too sad for me.

Horrible indeed.
They're giving the US military a bad rep.

i think this is just another example of how much people suck.

america started a war without much reason, after all, Saudi Arabia was in charge of 9/11, not Iraq.
& Bush with his futile ideals attempting to spread democracy, but only spreading more chaos.
& no WMD's anywhere.
& soldiers getting hurt as much as they are giving it.

everyone in the white house knows the iraqi war is a mistake, but no one wants to admit it- fix it- change it.

/sigh.

And that is why we cant even run our own country. Because America tried to overtake our government so that we would eventually submit to them. Even Marcos surrendered to Reagan!!

We are not even proud of our own language. We speak taglish for Pete's sake!

English? Is English so important? What if our leaders rose and made Philippines something, better than some other countries, wouldn't it be possible for us to be speaking Tagalog now, and the other countries learning our language? Won't that be something?

you forgotten the spanish and the japanese. ..

The Spanish's excruciating rule shaped our culture. I am proud of that culture even if it was adopted from Spain.

Why do you think the Japanese wanted Philippines? Aside from the resources, the fact that it was an American territory, they just had to conquer it!

And why did you reply "forgotten the Spanish and Japanese"? Please enlighten me. If it is a stupid reason, then dont bother.

Suadi Arabia admitted quite some time ago that 11 or so of the 19 (?) hijackers in charge of 9/11 were thier own citizens.
iraq had ZERO to do with 9/11; none of the hijackers were iraqis.

9/11 was just an excuse for america to execute its greed.
take control of a country with a huge oil industry, spread democracy, play the "hero".

/ugh, america.
