The absence of government does not mean the absence of administrators. The point of the truly surviving anarchist theories is direct connections between people and elected representatives. No decisions over your head, no secrecy, et cetera. Some want only local administrators, some want administators at workplaces too, with the internet the idea of running votes as a decision is to be made, all the time (that is when we are taking a political decision) has been presented.
Anarchy does not mean the absence of food and water or anything. If it is inefficient yes. But the same goes for any government of any type.
We need administration at densely populated areas. We do not need government. In fact, there are countries that has gone through long times without any real influental government (like China) and still have had little problems. What we need is administration.
I do not think that the fact that anarchist states have been conquered makes them "unsuccessfull". If you apply that, things get ww2: nazi germany successfull and unsuccessfull, France unsuccessfull but not as much as Poland that got conquered (in reality, with Petain and the guys, I would say Germany was more successfull in France), the Brits were succesfull in Egypt but also at a time unsuccessfull. Since France was liberated , but got occupied, but not entirely, but the remains worked with Germany some times, how (un)successfull was it? If you get killed, you are unsuccessfull? We are all conquered by death, so we are all unsuccessfull? It just gets bizarre. So no, I do not support that conquered means unsuccessfull. It is a way to administrate. Therefore the point should be how the adminstration works. The life paralell, again, if you get killed that doesn't mean you're unsuccessfull. So: if a state gets occupied, it does not mean it's unsuccessfull. It's ulterior, has nothing to do with the theory or intention. NO anrachist theory goes: if we do this, we won't get occupied.

V was against corruption, not the government. I believe V meant stopping the corruption with "anarchy" but then beginning a new government. Not a brand new type of government but, getting rid of the old regime and creating a new one, one that does not limit our rights and a flexible justice system. Basically taking religion out of government.

Corruption will always exist no matter what form of government we have. As long as you choose to live within the laws set by the government you should not have too much trouble, and in the end as long as I am not directly suffering from the corruption, who cares?

There is an irrational assumption here that all governments are modeled after the example of the United States.

Yes you find most governments not influenced heavily by religion like america is today, Happen to work just fine, and health care, education are the highest in the world, and poverty and crime rates are the lowest in the world.

Learn from Americas mistakes, do not allow Religion into your government even a little.

the want for anarchy is just a childish disire to not have anyone (like the government or your parents) telling you what to do. In fact most people who want anarchy probably don't even really know what it is. You know when a natural desaster strikes and everyone starts looting everything and killing each other and shit like that? that's just a taste of what anarchy is. anarchy wouldn't fix any kind of curruption or make mommy stop telling you to get a job. it will only make it a whole lot easier for someone who likes your shoes to kill you and take them on a whim.

No you don't need anarchy to stop the government corruption.

What you need is a collective movement of the majority of the population to protest against the government and large wealthy corporations for better rights and equal distribution of power to the common civilian. This is easier said than done because the powerful have such a tight grasp on its people and sacrifices must be made by most people to stop the corruption.

In fact, anarchy would be the worst possible option for solving this issue. Why? Because the government and the wealthy controls most means of physical power and weapons these days. In other words, even if we did form up an anarchy coup, they would quickly destroy us and reform the government into a worse state than it is now.

Anarchy creates chaos, division, and a failed state. A flock without the shepherd is no better than prey for the wolves. Corruption is every where and is present in anyone. You are corrupt, I am corrupt, everybody in this forum and elsewhere is corrupt--one is an exception when proven faultless in every single way--and anarchy will never solve the problem of corruption. If we remove the government, everyone will go and act on his own; laws are no longer enforced without those in authority; the economy fails because of sky-high crime rates--the list goes on.

For a person to be corrupt, there must be the notion of "money" first. So no, anarchy wouldn't get rid of corruption because it is unlikely it would get rid of money.

In order to get rid of "money" what we need is to get rid of capitalism. Then people wouldn't be bribe-able. How do we do that? Communism of course! Go communism!

Actually I view corruption in the same way I view money: a necessary evil because its just too good to get rid of.

Anarchy is a condition where a state has no existing form of government. Nuff said.
