lol, well the story is about a robot who develops a personality *soul* if you may say so, and goes on a live journey to become more human which takes 200 years, and he falls in love. In the end he gives up his imortality to die with his lover. It was a sweet ending...so lets see what happens in this Drama but if no happy ending with night occurs, I can always think about the past story I just mentioned ^^

Wow, talk about a bittersweet ending! Image I hope this one ends on a happy note, if not, it's going to stay in my mind forever, as many stories and dramas with sad endings do. -_- I don't know why, but sad endings make me contemplate more and I don't let go of it so easily. :vicx:

I've been meaning to wait for subs for ep.10, but the wait is killing me, so I'm watching it RAW and it seems to be going into the direction of the manga's ending. Image I hope that's not the case and it's just a cliff-hanger for people to tune in for the finale in 5 hours and 10 minutes. xD

I looked this up on PPStream but don't see it. That means I won't be able to watch it LIVE. Image

ummm... kinda like that... u should watch.. ^_~ if u like this pairing~

Of course I love the pairing! Image Luckily, it's on CR, but to bad it's not complete. Image Not only are Mokomichi Hayami and Saki Aibu in it, but there's also Matsuda Shota (from HYD), too! Image

not complete??? eehhh?? its complete... its only have 9 episode..

Part 3 of episode 9 isn't subbed, yet. Image It's listed as "not completed". Also, part 2 of ep.1 is broken. I've reported it, but I'm not sure when/if it's going to be fixed. Image

What did they do in "Bicentennial Man"? Robot changed into human or ending the movie differently from the book? Image

Thanks for offering that small ray of hope! ^_~ Maybe they (the drama's writers) received the go-ahead to change the ending to a different one from the manga? Image Let us hope... Image

The trouble with Bicentennial Man is its slow progression towards the resolution.
I couldn't help yawning towards the end. For this series, it is best to kill off Knight
so that Riiko could be with the man she ought to be with. I mean, she's the kind
who would want to have kids. I don't think the time setting is ripe for that step. LOL

That's the part that's bittersweet about the plot of this drama. Image But it's all the more memorable having a robot, though, because it's so usual to have just real humans. Image

I'm still in shock by the ending, even though I know it was coming. -_- I haven't absorbed the full blow, yet. Image
