The story is good but your right, you get more depth by looking at it as 2 lovers seperated by different worlds. Plus the last episode of season 2 before thevery end becomes heart-breaking.

This anime is AWESOME!!!
The writer really thought of everytin...
I mean bringing the 2 worlds together!!!
Dragon = WW2 plane wow!!

9.5 / 10 anime 0.5 goes to the length...its too damn short..
This anime is a work of art which should consist of at least 20eps wif them getting married at the end!!!

Wow... anyone could have told you that but in like three sentences. Of course it revolves around Saito and Louise. You have to be all sorts of stupid not to see it! I honestly don't see a reason why anyone should not like ZnT unless you don't like Anime. XD

This is just a very tiny flicker of light incase some producer or someone who created Zero no Tsukaima reads it, but if there was a 3rd season, I want Louise and Siesta to go to Japan where Saito's life used to be. It would be a total change in what happens, aka Louise would be restricted to no magic and Siesta would have total freedom with Saito creating tension between Louise and Siesta instead of Louise blaming Saito constantly. It would also show them about our world and at te end, if they went back, they would be different people and would have changed personality's and feelings. But since Louise and Saito got married near the end of the second season, a third season might be just a little bit out of reach. anyway, I'll check up on this again, so if anyone has comment about it or whatever, you can buddy me and we can talk about it ^-^

That might be interesting...
Though I have to say that you're right...getting married does somehow restrict the plot, huh??

I think there is a ps2 game with a similar plot. Game opening at: http://www.crunchyroll.com/showmedia?id=171505

By the way. In season 1 Saito wasn't a pervert, or at least not in an exagerated way as in season 2. So in the first one was Louise beating Saito for no real reason, and in the other one because he really deserves it. That sudden change in the attitude of a main character from one season to another really pisses me off

Wow, interesting vid. It shows the characters in Japanese school outfits (guess they're in Japan)...also introduces new characters...who are the blonde and blue-haired (with horns) girls?

Zero no Tsukaima: Muma ga Tsumugu Yokaze no Gensoukyoku (pretty damn long) seems to be the name of the game. I don't know anything about it, exept that MAYBE this page has it: http://trfighters.net/konu.php?t=15616&sid=bf176a206041b6c684551d5aba5e1de8

Sorry, but I don't have neither the time nor the internet speed to check if it's the game or not, and anyways if it is, i'll be in japanese

EDIT: if it's not in the link abobe, try this one:
http://foro.mcanime.net/viewtopic.php?p=1351929&sid=457c3456d3aa197bf6b5fc5119497c3a

Check the bottom of the page. Again is not a certain.

If by any chance this is against a forum/crunchyroll rule, please let me know so I can edit the post again and take down the links

it should end in season 4 or so to excite the viewers =P

and to the ps2 game....
maybe its season 3? to be stupid it could be season 4? its just really boring if it ends in season 3 right???

To blopa:

Wow, this forum went from "The Depth of Zero no Tsukaima" to a discussion about if anime has any depth at all...

Something has depth if there's more to it than what at first appears. Lots of anime (but not all) have characters/situations that at first seem to be weird or don't make any sense but as the series progresses everything becomes clear (usually in the last few episodes). So it's not a question of whether anime has depth or not - it's built into it usually, in order to sell toys/manga/light novels, etc - appealing to fans. A good example is the side stories in ZnT about Tabitha - there's now two new light novels devoted totally to this character (character depth). And Naruto Shippuuden has a part in every episode devoted to putting more depth into characters, techniques, villages, etc.

So whether you're just watching anime to relieve boredom or you really love comedies, romances, sci-fi, a certain character or story, etc., anime has something for everyone. Although I chose to concentrate on the relationship between Saito and Louise, please feel free to use this forum to discuss any aspect of the story you really like.

This is a cool observation, I wonder if they'll use this for the 3rd season...how else are they going to continue to have Saito be hit on by other girls?

I think the two new characters on the new ZnT game will be hitting on saito
Hope louise wont do serious damage on saito because of that
