Well, I guess YEAH I'd follow my parent's footsteps but it's only in a certain extent.

I'd follow their being serious-minded when it comes to work, how they put personal matters aside when it comes to work, and their being career people.

I don't want to be close-minded, judgmental, or a homophobe.

So no. I'd rather not follow in my parents' footsteps. They're kind of going all over the place.

Depends...

Does following 'partially' still count? My parents have certain traits and 'techniques' to raise us that I admire them for being able to handle everything. But there's also some things that I wouldn't condone.

No , and my parent definely don't want me to follow their footstep . (unless they want me to follow their religion) anyway they didn't force me to , the decision is all mine .

My whole family is a little weird. Each member has an IQ of at least 140. It makes it hard to relate to each other. Following my parents would go against everything i am as a person.
