Any spam/off-topic posts and I'm locking this btw.

You can learn to produce electronic music, You might wanna learn keyboards maybe Turntablism. But the main thing that you need to learn to produce EDM is Software, like

DJ tools:
Serato Scratch Live
Ableton LIve

Porduction Tools:
Ableton LIve
Cakewalk Sonar
Propellerhead REASON
Digidesign Pro Tools Full stetup $100,000+

These are not Must have programs but they are the leading tools available, they are cheaper ones with similar power but not as polished as the ones metioned above.

I'd say that using analog synths and drum machines is alot more rewarding than using software for purposes other than final mixdown (at least for me). but i would have to agree that abelton live is really, really helpful. I just love the feeling of analog synths. When i make stuff with computer programs, i just dont get as much satisfaction.

If you like the feeling of analog, and you dont want to pay thousands, i would recommend the Microkorg. Its small, but it can pump out some really thick, nice sounds.

Lol, this stuff is merely arrangements rather than playing. Simple stuff.

Best drum program is DFH. Reason is great for the various plug ins. Also try Fruity Loops.

also not only learning the piano specifically buying a Midi capable Keyboard, but definitely analog synths are part of the equation, but if your starting out it's pretty much one route or the other because of costs, when you get successful then you can have it all... =P

it's not something you really play. i mean, Pendulum is one of the only DnB bands out there. either way, there are so many different types of electronic music out there and so many different styles of each genre that you're question is unanswerable.

be more specific

also, i've read a lot of these other posts on here and no one seems to know what they are talking about either. forget all about scratch serrado and fruity loops and keyboards and all that crap cause if you don't know what genre you even like you're going to be completely lost. just check out some drumNbass, house hardstyle (sucks), breaks.... see what you're into. producing is a hard task. there's a lot of shitty electronis music out there. need any suggestions just PM me

yau1024, i know exactly what ur talking about, i really want to learn how to make trance music myself, but seriously you have to buy the equipment, which cost alot....here is someone i admire though, Pakito, his songs seems to really motivate me (makes me think about opening up a club)

EDIT: Did you actually change the thread title? Looks different.
