there's so much that i love about NANA. i love how ai yazawa draws the characters' eyes, they're so intense and penetrating. the artwork is just beautiful. NANA pulls you in cause it's so real and the characters have so much depth. you get to see them struggle and when they're most vulnerable. and you feel them when they're at their highest and lowest cause you know you've been there before, and it's just so real. so many people can relate cause it's not like most shoujo stories where everyone gets what they want. not to mention the music's pretty beast.

I love Nana cause the world of them is like the world we live, how realistic Nana is, full of emotions. I like the characters of them. They were both different and I like the way they do for their dreams. Nana (Hachi) attempted to support Nana for everything she did, really good relationship, I was impressive..

I'm extremely fallen in love with Nana manga, forever and ever. It is amazing shujo-josei manga that I haven't read ..it is touching on me....

i can't remember how i descovered nana.maybe because since i saw the first epsiode i was so in love with it, that everything before it dissappered.i love the story, it is very realistic, and the world the characters life in semes so glamours in the same time, the characters represent different types of people, that look so good next to each other,i like the love stories, the drama every character has to deal with at a certain moment.the happy moments, the funny moments, the sad moments....everything. also the sound track of the anime.i saw nana in 4 days.and now it looks like it takes years before the next chapter of the manga is releast.....

Because you can feel the same emotions that the characters feel... I really don't know how Yazawa-san can do that... After I'd watched the first ep (that was about 8 pm) I just NEEDED to know what will happen next, I got sleepy then, my eyes hurt but just couldn't stop watching, finally went to bed at about 3 am. Then I woke up and immediately turned on the computer to watch NANA. Honestly, I didn't even dress myself and was just watching for all day o_o Kinda scary XD Fortunately, my parents were left for some days so nobody disturbed me
There're much more things I'd like to write but ehmm, I don't know how express my thoughts V_V
The fact is that you just can't don't love NANA, yeah.

they are some very well-developed characters, that's what i love most about NANA.

true, for some, it might get a little depressing. but if you really think about it, life's a bit depressing. it's pretty realistic and that's due to the well-written characters.

i don't know, maybe i have a knack for figuring people's psyche, how they tick, how they work, and i like putting them in different situations. (that's why, i guess, i'm an aspiring writer.) and the way they all reacted to things seems reasonable.

Is very realistic, and is this series made a huge impact on my life. I never thought I could relate so much to a manga/anime series the way I can relate to NANA.

Plus, Yazawa-san always puts some indirect, but useful piece of life advise. Well, she's 41. She's been around twice the time I've been in this world.
