Nickolodeon had some truly great cartoons back in the day. Hey Arnold was great. It had great characters, stories, humor... and a lot of heart. Rugrats was also funny and creative. It had great jokes that went over kids' heads, and it was kind of satire. Then Dil was born, and it got all cutesy. That ruined it. Let's see, loved Jackie Chan Adventures. The story was kind of cliche, but it had great characters and a good sense of humor. Arthur was and is great. I like the characters, and it really gets what it's like to be a kid. Recess was pretty good... oh, and anyone remember Pepper Ann? That one was kind of weird, but it was quirky. X-Men Evolution was good, though I never watched it consistently. Oh, and anyone remember The Zeta Project? It got boring, but it was good for a while. Oh, and Tiny Toons and Animaniacs were classics. The latter had such a great sense of humor.
Oh, and I liked Futurama. I didn't usually think it was so funny, but I liked the characters and the shipping. There were also a couple of really touching episodes that didn't even involve the shipping. And Family Guy has a few funny moments.

I've enjoyed a lot of short animation pieces I saw here and there and even during the days of Liquid Television. The Maxx, Aeon Flux, The Head (someone mentioned those in the early pages)
Some animated movies I've enjoyed, even loved:
I Married A Strange Person (Bill Plympton is one twisted individual)
Heavy Metal
American Pop (amongst other Ralph Bakshi's works)
Even gotten to appreciate Run Wrake's material (as WTF material as they tend to be).

just want to add in the nick part. you know the cartoon show called ginger? no worries my friend nick is still airing those shows like the rugrats every 11pm i think haha..

As Told By Ginger? I never liked that one so much. Too... teeny-boppy. Maybe I was too old when it started to enjoy it.
