I rented this game awhile ago by chance. I really enjoyed it. Reminded me a bit of Shenmue.

Yeah, it was a lot like Shenmue, just without the boring bits. Kazuma's not going to ask anyone if they want to play a game of Lucky Hit.

Yeah, no doubt. Kazuma absolutely wouldn't ask that. Actually I would love to see Kazuma and Ryo fight...Ryo trains by snatching leaves in a garden. Kiryu trains by actually fighting. Kiryu wins via curb stomp.

But that chick in Shenmue II, Li Shao Tao, could beat Kazuma's ass with her mystical hotness kungfu style.

I don't think Kiryu would fight her...He would be trying to apply his mack and not to attack.

I remember how excited I was for Yakuza to come out. I thought it looked absolutely rad and I'm happy to say that it didn't disappoint me. The game was fun and had an interesting story, but my favorite part would have to be beating the living crap out of street punks and other yakuza. Bicycle to the head! Slice and dice with a sword. Maybe some one on one with an orange cone! Sooo many unique weapons to use. It made fighting fun.

Kazuma was such a badass too, but he had a heart.

I can't wait to get the second game. Hopefully it's just as fun as the first.

Finally, a female fan! Yeah, it's an awesome game. I own the imported Japanese version of Yakuza 2. It's even better than the first.

You have no idea how happy I am to hear that. I've only had the chance to see a couple of video previews of the game on the net.

September seems so far away, but I know it'll be here in a flash. I can't wait to see Kazuma put the beat down on the bad guys again. <3

Oh, he does. His moves are even more nasty. I know a little Japanese, but badassery translates into any language. I can't wait to play the it again so I can figure out what's going on. The boss fights are even more epic, the final fight between Kazuma and Ryuji puts a lot of final boss battles to shame.

I'm jealous of people who get to import games. Unfortunately I don't have the money for that kind of thing and while I would just love to play certain games sooner...I've got to know what's going on! Getting the chance to physically play it is great and all, but to really enjoy it I need to hear and comprehend every frickin' word coming out of Kazuma's mouth.

If only I could read japanese well. I can understand it when it's spoken all right, but reading still makes my brain knot up.

I bought the game at this little Japanese movie store. I got it for around 30 bucks. Yakuza 2 is going to only be Subtitled this time. I guess they didn't feel the need to spend a lot of money on a sub-par dubbing. Either was is kool and the gang to me.

I can't read Japanese either, I understood about 40% off what was going on, when I was playing it last year. I loved the interaction with Kazuma's new girlfriend and any time he interacted with Haruka. I like how he's went from the most feared guy in Japan to being the best dad he can be. Little character moments make this series better than, say, Final Fantasy whatever.

WHAT?! That is frickin' cheap. You are a lucky guy.

And wow, I didn't know they weren't going to have english dialogue in the second game. That will be...different for a lot of people. I'm totally okay with that, but you know I actually liked the english voice acting in the first game. Either way I would be darn happy.

His new girlfriend, huh? Is that the cop chick? Ooooh. Haruka. She was so cute. <3

So, Kazuma has a girlfriend, but can you still run around and woo various girls at the bars like in the first game? Nothing really happens, but it was kind of fun trying to charm them. :D
