There's nothing wrong with watching ecchi comedy. I watch it with my boyfriend cuz its funny eventhough its lowbrow. If you have a strong relationship that's passionate, no amount of ecchi stuff he watches will take away from the romance. Although he doesnt watch it on his own, we usually watch it together, just so we can make sarcastic comments. Its fun. Its not like he's watching Hentai or porn. And I dont want to burst your fantasy bubble, but every guy have porn in their stash. You're not gonna find one that doesnt. And if you did, Im sorry to say, but your man is a pathological liar.

I wouldn't stop my boyfriend from watching it. Actually, a few days ago we were trying to find an anime to watch together and he had found a few that looked entertaining and he asked me to pick one. So I ended up picking the ecchi one out of the bunch and we watched that together. I see no problem with him watching ecchi and we both enjoyed it.

My girlfriend doesn't mind. Although that's mostly because I watch it for laughs rather than the primary reason for guys. All guys who watch anime watch it at some point, and it's just a phase for most of them. Personally, I think ecchi is rather like a gateway drug. Either you get on and get off, or you get pulled into something more serious like H anime and the sort.
