Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 6/24/08 We know THAT but what reason would Gintoki be "the guy who has the most reasons to hate this world" have those reasons and what happened that Shouyou sensei was OOOOO (I know but I'm not telling...) I think that the anime/manga should explain more. We know the Shinsengumi character's backstory but we've only just grazed the actual iceburg that is the Joi Shishi story to me. and I mean Gintoki the main character, and Takasugi the main villain and naturally my story... D*mn those no spilling intelligence lawsuits! People are craving a backstory and no amount of speculation by our fans is getting any more sane...(Curse the Yaoi fanfictions...) I told Gintoki that we SHOULD but he was like "Why should a man discuss anything about a shadowy past when he's too busy living in the now? I'm the main character, so I say we let them sweat!" Sometimes I just don't understand that tennen perm baka!

Frankly, the parts I'd like to see is the one what was the job the cross dressing leader had, how was the old gang working (Takasugi, Gintoki, Katsura and Sakamoto) during the war, see how Kondo, Hijikata and Sougo before Shinsengumi, Sa-chan and the rest of the ninja during the war and last but not least, what kind of devastation the Neo-Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon wrought and how it led to the defeat of Japan! I'm crossing my fingers and praying that this will happen.

(curse you, Sorachi) the only thing we can hope for now is a anime original ova or some original filler arc. btw, what the hell happen to sakamoto. i couldn't even remember the last time i saw him in the manga

Lets hope the next time we´ll read "Kintoki Ahahahaha" will be when Sorachi finally draw chapters about their past. Anyways, the current arc seems to be really good. Still waiting for lesson 218 imo. This will be one hell of a chapter.
