Have you eaten Organically Certified fruits and vegetables and other foods from free ranged poultry and small livestock? Is it essential to farm and eat like our ancestors in order to optimize our health, build our immune system and fight every chronic and degenerative disease and dysfunction? Moreover, you can talk about any general topic pertaining to the organic farming and foods in this thread.
like: how to do backyard organic gardening? where to buy organic food? organic restaurants and other locations? how to processing food organically? where are the organic farm areas? what are being used as organic fertilizers? and .....

Organic farming is a form of agriculture that excludes the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, plant growth regulators, livestock feed additives, and genetically modified organisms. As far as possible, organic farmers rely on crop rotation, green manure, compost, biological pest control, and mechanical cultivation to maintain soil productivity and control pests.

"The role of organic agriculture, whether in farming, processing, distribution, or consumption, is to sustain and enhance the health of ecosystems and organisms from the smallest in the soil to human beings."

Yes, but limited to only vegetable.
i thought that pesticide in vegetable has the biggest chance to affect someone if the vegetable is not washed properly.
Other than that, organic vegetable only has slightly higher price than their inorganic counterparts. For livestock and fish it's another story. The price gap is very noticeable.

I think so. Once only though xD But i think if it was me, i would only eat them once in a while...i mean everyday and every meal? lol But then again, some really health-conscious people might eat them everyday.

I'd buy organic but I'm too cheap. During summer though I always get organic veggies from the farmers markets in town (b/c it's pretty cheap unlike organic stuff at the store).

All food is organic matter. The food they market as "organic" is just a label to make naive consumers think that it is more special and healthier than "regular" food. This enables companies to price the food higher so that it makes more $$.

when i own my self a house and a parcel of land id like to bombard it with lots of plants.. then id make salads everyday then i'll force my brother to eat it (swallow it you ogre!)and open up a restaurant that sells salads(buy me greens!silly people)... and oopss, its not the organic life choices thread thread.. best thing to do is take a pot and plant a seed in it. Now thats organic.

My mom buys only organic fruit and vegetables, so I practically live on the stuff lol.I don't think it tastes any different though tbh. Also, she sometimes buys organic meat, but I'm veggie, so that doesn't affect me.

i hate organic stuff :< well not really. my job requires us to know the PLU codes of every vegetable, fruit, whatever. with organic produce we have to add an extra digit which is pretty simple because the rest of the code remains the same. . but for some reason it can be very confusing. ._. its also very difficult to tell organic from regular because most customers disguise their organic produce as regular produce and we get in trouble from our managers. :{

but i do love the concept of organic food. and to everyone who says its more expensive. not all the time. right now organic strawberries are cheaper than regular. :}

Yes, my grandma planted a lot of vegetables (ex.eggplant) in the backyard of her house at the province.

It taste delicious but usually, organic vegetables are smaller than the ones with fertilizers and such.
