if i was the dad i would:
1. Sell the PC
2. Disconnect the internet
3. Strike her off my will.
4. Spend her college funds on a stripclub spree in Vegas.
5. And if there's any left over, use it as toilet paper.

LOL!!! Hell yes! that sounds like a plan to me!!!

Dad Grounds Daughter, Daughter Sues, Daughter Wins

Ottawa, Canada (AHN) - A 12-year-old girl took her dad to court after he grounded her for disobeying his orders to stay off the Internet. And she won.

The father banned his daughter from going on a school trip after she used a friend's computer to chat on websites he had blocked at home, and then posted pictures of herself online that her dad considered inappropriate.

Neither the father or his daughter have been identified to protect the girl.

With the help of a public defender, the girl sued her father. Quebec Superior Court Justice Suzanne Tessier noted that the girl had repeated defied her father, but ruled that the father's punishement was too severe.

Attorney Kim Beaudoin, who represented the father, told Agence France-Presse that "I think most children respect their parents and would never go so far as to take them to court, but it's clear that some would and we have to ask ourselves how far this will go."

Beaudoin said she was appealing the judge's order.

So another parent-child punishment has gone down the toilet. Screwed up justice system. If I had a bratty kid like that, I'd beat the shit out of him/her.

Wow...maybe I should consider taking my mom to court.

Actually I'm 13 from Philly, living in New Jersey.
=] And yes I'm kidding. I'm to lazy to take someone to court.

Hey, that's my line.

It's not like I'm for child abuse, but bitches like these needs to be put in their place, painfully. I don't think the father-daughter relationship is going to do well after this. Hero to kids everywhere, enemy to her family-- who so happens to be her provider.

seriously, we had to put with belt whipping and chilli powder in the eyes as kids. It may seem crazy, but it worked. that way,we didn't need discipline beyond the age of 12. We knew right from wrong by then.

Yea seriously. I mean what kind of punishment isn't too severe? Grounded is like as low as it gets. Is the punishment supposed to be like a short chat or something? Cause that obviously won't work, he already told her what not to do.

lol i remember getting beaten with everything from cricket bats, belt(buckles), bamboo sticks(don''t ask lol) etc.It seems harsh but it helps kids stray off bad influences later in life. Besides, everybody's parents did the same and we accepted it. The parents who didnt discipline their kids watched them grow upto wannabe gangsters, drug addicts, alcoholics etc.

haha wow. people are so screwed up these days. how was her punishment too severe? she just had to stay off some websites. These spoiled little brats take things for granted. She should be happy that she even have a computer. The father should throw her into a 3rd world country.
