i don't see any others.

these are the only other mentions of cliches:

http://www.crunchyroll.com/search?q=cliche&o=f

the first result is the closest to this but it's much more specific and hasn't gotten a single reply since it opened in march

they most likely used another word instead of cliches
if the content is close enough the name doesnt matter

Spike Spiegel, Wolfwood, Asuma Sarutobi, Maes Hughes, November 11? any of these names ring a bell?

Agreed to most of them.

-Male characters that smoke, die.”

Explain please or make some examples, I remember many characters that are alive till the end of an anime.

One more cliche 95% of the animes which include fighting.

Characters use the weakest attacks first and after being exhausted and tired they use their strongest attacks. This isn't logical. Just to keep the suspense...
Tell me 1 anime where fights start with the strongest attack and end with weak ones.
I don't even remember one who starts with a middle strong attack(arrogance underestimating etc) becomes stronger and ends with weak attacks anyway.

Search for prejudgedices for example if this is a dublicate.

I remember 1 thread with common beliefs etc. in animes.

I fully agree

unrevealed powers
superstrong girls
"power of friendship" topic
"black and white" characters - most of characters are often only good or only evil
explaining things during the fight

these are so boring cliches. the directors and script writers should read books more, then they will learn, how to build good story and good action without these cheap tricks.

In some shoujo stories... it's like a girl has to choose between a rough, loud yet soft-in-the-inside guy and a nice, almost-perfect guy. In most cases the first one always wins the girl. Ex. Kyo and Tohru from Furuba. Natsume and Mikan (well they're a nice couple anyway lol) from Gakuen Alice. Shin Goon and Chae-gyoung from Goong.

I mean.. they're great couples and everything but when those half-quality manga titles that have a half-ass story and has cliche painted on every page do it... it's ridiculous.

Also in most shonen stories, a character that's important to the main character has to die. Then there's like an episode or two explaining what happened and why and then the character gets stronger from it or something later.

I agree with that..There's also one where the girl likes the perfect nice one but somehow in the end ends up with the soft in the inside guy..

like:

Kirarin Revolution (it hasnt ended but It's too obvious)

and

Shugo chara( Same here it hasnt ended but it's pretty obvious...)
