Yeah, it's unfair that exorcists have to choose between decisions like that. I mean, look at Allen (became an exorcist at the sensitive age of fifteen, was abused by Cross, was abadoned by parents because of weird arm and lost his FOSTER father), Lavi (is torn between being a good friend and being a future bookman) and Kanda (THIS GUY JUST WANTS TO BE LOVED!) . It was worse for Suman who had to choose between his duties as an exorcist or as a father. I feel sorry for him...cause in the end he fulfilled neither.

kanda wants to be loved??

Well, Suman was alive, but then the Tease ate his body and besides, his spirit disappeared.
Since he was a parasite-type, maybe Innocence is like your life =/
I don't know. I think Suman's justified in becoming an Exorcist but then again, he did betray Innocence and his comrades to live to see his family again.
He should've realized that there is no life guarantee as an Exorcist.
Besides, he could've died either way.

he deserve that by betraying his comrades but i pity him for wanting to see his daugther.

yeah i think what he did was wrong. but i think the whole cause of all his troubles is because he was forced to become an exorcist. i mean, yeah, he had to be an exorcist either way but what if the black order let him see his family like once a week?? wouldnt that make him less desparate to see them?? =/ i mean hes not a bad guy, its because of "love" that made him betray the order.

It's easy to relate to suman. I mean, who here wants to get their heart ripped out? (He didn't know that he was a breeding ground for the Tease.)
