Eh...it's painful, but not scary.

If your wisdom teeth are completely out, they will probably just use Novocaine and pull them out. If they're still inside the gums, then you will be sedated and they will cut them out.

The first day, you'll probably feel moody or nauseous if they used sedatives. Make sure to stay sitting up, because lying down prevents the blood from clotting. Drink plenty of water and eat soft foods like yogurt (nothing with small particles- these can get lodged in your wounds). Wear your ice packs as often as you can.

The second and third days you'll feel better, but that's when the swelling begins. It's crucial to war your ice packs to prevent the swelling as much as possible. Continue eating soft foods. You cannot eat food with small particles for about 3 weeks anyway. You will also have to start doing saltwater rinses several times a day to prevent infection.

After this point, you should start to heal and be back to normal. Just continue your saltwater rinses and avoid food with small particles (broccoli, sesame seeds, etc.) for a few weeks.

dont worry it was nothing, the most painful part was getting the iv in (but that dosent really hurt as it is) you drift around for the begining of it and then your out, no biggy. depending on how you react to anastisia you may spend the rest of the day sleeping or like me you might be right as rain (i watched movies all after noon) keep a plastic contaner by you afterwards (probly best if its one you can throw away) because youll spit up a ton of blood (he-he-hee that part was kinda cool....yeah im weird) my jaw wasnt sore or anything and i was eating solid food the next day (actully be careful whatr you eat i ended up riping my stiches out early on acident, but it wasnt a big deal)

hmm, I guess it's nothing to get worried about... you get operated under anesthesia so you don't actually notice them making you bleed like a struck pig afterwards you can put ice on it and take painkillers and you'll be fine... for me the worst thing was that my face swell a lot, it was almost perfectly square.. so ugly so I couldn't leave the house or just bear to look into a mirror or eat any solid food for that matter for around a week but otherwise I was fine. the stitches did get pretty annoying though >_<

Well I got an oxygen mask put on me before my procedure, so I didn't feel a thing. I woke up with a lot of blood and saliva in my mouth. Then, I took pain killers for I think the first two weeks and ate nothing but soft food. Honestly, the worst part of the procedure was the fact that it hurt to eat.
