I wouldn't really want to change the ending. I like how it is! BUT if I had to change the end! I would've made it like this: *click on spoiler!!!!*

If Yukito didn't have to go and stayed and Misuzu slowly got better and mostly everyone started being her friend and she got better and didn't cry anymore. Sounds cheesy. xD But yeah, I like the ending they made anyways.

The ending is sad but nice....maybe the ending of the ending could be finally Yukito is able to find Kanna...and Kanna finally able to rest in peace. Then in Kanna's dream, Ryuuya and Uraha appear by her side and the three of them stay forever together in the afterlife/dream.
How i wish so......

The summer movie or the OVA one?? The OVA one has almost the same ending since Misuzu died anyway, the difference would be that Yukito is in his human form instead of a crow.
The Summer one has no ending......

I think the ending is fine as it is. Eventhough it's a sad one but I don't mind at all. It make the ending less impact if Misuzu is going to live. The most important thing is Misuzu manage to reach her 'goal' which is to have a happy life even for a moment. I know it's hard but we should all be happy for Misuzu. Rest in peace, Misuzu (T-T)

I like anewperfectday's idea. Unfourtunatly, Misuzu has to die. It's this serie's sorrow that makes it so beautiful. My only wish is that Yukito didn't end up as a crow. That was confusing. It would be better if his spirit saw what happened to her in some other way. |

If you want another ending, then you should request a retelling of story to Key and Visual Arts! After all...

Although most people would prefer this anime's ending, since this is the one that's depicted on the VN.
