It's easier to just use an emulator to play the downloaded copy of the game, rather than having to completely modify your PS2 so it'll play burned games.

And we're talking about Melty Blood? Just download the PC version.

Sure, but you have to mod your PS2 so instead of only reading certian sectors it reads normal dvd's when its playing the games, have fun. (Theres also this swap magic thing, people say it works, but whatever)

No it isn't, to run a PS2 emulator, you need a computer that runs crysis on ultra high max settings 30 fps, in other words, its cheaper to buy a ps2, and over 50 games...

I am assuming you are talking about taking an ISO of a PSX game form the internet, writing it to a disk, and playing it on your console.

The short answer is yes, you can mod most any system these days to play backups of games. The only down side is that if you do not know hardware this is very hard to do.

If you are looking to do PS2 exclusivly, I recommend you get a PS2 Slim and check out http://www.swapmagic3.com/. I have a friend who has done this and just loves it... plus he says that the slim ps2 plays the back ups better than the original.

I don't know what kind of PS2 you're talking about, but my friend found a version that works on computers that exist in this dimension.

First of all many people are saying this is illegal. Well technically it is illegal if you do not have the original copy of the game. For you to legally download the game is if you have bought the original copy. If not..then what you are doing is illegal. ^__^

And to burn it on a DVD and play it on PS2? Its very possible. You just have to find some store to mod your PS2 which means to add like a chip into it. My friend did it..but I'm not sure if its all that great. He says that some games lag and stuff. Many problems.

A PS2 EMULATOR, to emulate something you have to have over 3 times more power then it, a PS2 is not built like a PC, so it requires more power to do things ON A COMPUTER. So the computer has to be significantly more powerful then it.
