It's probbaly what some people term as 'Wapanese'.

The term used to belong to the West but it has since extended to Asians who are crazy over the Japanese sub-culture of anime/manga.

In actual fact, what is known as mixing Japanese phrases with English would be called Japlish and it's practised by students who are studying in international schools in Japan.

However, I'd agree that this kind of usage of Japanese phrase is considered abuse.

Most people who use this kind of 'half-creole' probably cannot even read the Japanese written on their favourite anime/manga official website too.

Its one of my pet hates. One of my friends keeps calling me -chan and i want to KICK HIM!
People also use words i the wrong context too. Some girl used honto ni as really, as in very, to say something was 'honto ni mature' or something. go pick up a japanese dictionary, love.

Desu is probably the most annoying one, followed by the fact taht 6 people call me Ni-san although I'm not related to them...

My friend said "baka" to me in person and I kneed him in groin twice for it I found it so ridiculous. That solves the problem for the real life variant at least.

Edit: I say "friend" but it's just someone who I went to college with.

A Black girl years ago started dancing and quoting some Japanese anime song so I said with a Preachers/Priest frown...
"We of the Negro Race don't do that."

I say let them speak whatever language they want after it's not like you own and dictate us. [of course I don't speak like that]

What I really hate is when someone use anime phrases or japanese words in a daily conversation. Geez, it's not like I can actually understand them.
