---nice quote....and I got this from the current girl of my "ex". It's sad that I like what she said..It's sad that she was the one that made me do just that.....

Okay, this is my first topic, and I'm not sure if it already exists, I didn't see it in the older threads...

Yesterday my girlfriend move to Seattle in Washington state, and I live in Florida, across the damn country. We had our tearful goodbye at the airport, and then she left. We decided not to have a long distance relationship, even though we do love each other, we both thought it would be easier to let go and move on, even though we will be friends and keep in touch. I wanted to know about other times when other people had to let go of something or someone, even when they didn't want to, and how they moved on.

hmm.. i hate this kind of relationships..
and yeaa, it hurts when you have to say goodbye..
and when you would try to continue the long distance relationships,
people would tell you to quit it..

actually,
i havent even moved on myself..
but my boyfriend already broke up with me,
yet, he still loves me too.
only, not as much as i do.

... hmm, it hurts.. its like, you miss him so much..
and youd want to be with him/ her, but she;s like
million miles away from you..
and you cant do anything..
hmm, i miss him now.. T_T

buahahahaha......crybaby.....go and hide at some dark corner, and kneel down and cry bucket full of tears.........
......anyway ya're lucky now that ya have a chance to get another girl......but then ya're unlucky too, cause she might meet someone in seatle........
...aawww...haha....goodbye thing happened to me too, but i didn't cry like you,.........i just had to smile.
anyway just watch 'good will hunting'.....if ya really love her........
if ya have already watched, then watch again, there is something that can make you want to go and find her again.

Hell, I decided to let go because that person was going to pursue his music studies abroad, but he was the one who didn't want to. Well. We tried to compromise and opted for an open relationship. With some adjustments.

It's sad, really. He came back for my birthday, [after a year] but has been in and out of the hospital for the past few months. There's something wrong, but I won't delve deeper into it here. Too much drama. XD

That aside, I think letting go is something that can't happen unless you both consent to it. At least it was a mutual decision for you two.

At first, it's hard to accept it,
but I just hope that she's okay there.

it does hurt but it better to let go or you will keep remembering about her/him most of the time and you will be more depressed. For me, I lead clans with other founder or check forum and if someone I know that I support alot left, I have to let it go, although our friendship and what we did can not be forgotten. Just that if they left then our clan/forum proficient shrunk (as in discussion, play game, tournament, keep forum ok, etc.).

when you still love her and care for here then don't let go regardless of how many miles the distance is. it say that absence make the heart go fonder. On my part, i will not let go as long as the one i love still love me, need me and cared for me....
