Whatever pissed my dad off, he used to start his rant with this line:

"I was born and raised in the land of the great rising sun and THAT gives me the knowledge and wisdom to say THIS is not right!"

It didn't matter what a rant was about - a broken light bulb, a video recorder that no longer worked, poor school grades, bad weather, he had to say that line before starting his rant. It was also a good clue that the rant would last an hour or until we fell asleep.

There is a girl in my social circle who always has to confirm whatever she says with, "Ye hear me? Ye hear me? Ye hear me?" Well, to be accurate, "Yehearmeyahearmeyehearme?" Weird as fuck.

Everytime my Dad says something to me he says:

How would YOU feel if you were going BLIND!?! I can't SEE!!!!

He complains about everything! It's mean, I know but I really don't care if he's blind or not!

Umm I would write what my mom says a lot but it's not PG-13 lol

My dad says "Thank you much" whenever I do a favor for him....I told him that it was "Thank you very much" But he says that it's the short way of saying it. I'm still confused till this day, but I have heard a lot of other people saying it on the streets...it's quite scary.

heh. my parents gave up on trying to understand anime and mangas, they also gave up on getting me to wear pink, makeup and dresses. they trust me enough to not give me lectures. once in a while i just have to tell them that i know over and over b/c they think that i have nt thought of something again or considered something when i already have.
friends also like anime and manga too those of my friends who dont either already have an opinion about it and dont care or just dont know enough about it to have an opinion so they dont say much about it.

mom and dad: "dont argue just for the sake of arguing"
^ this quote makes me see red, literally, if anyone besides my parents said this i would go insane
Red buttons:

"You know what I mean?"

"Don't aggravate me." -- look it up in a dictionary for the correct meaning of this word, please

"Do I look fat?" -- why? why? why?WHY?! It's a minefield every time. When I say no, I'm a liar. When I say yes, I'm an insensitive bastard.

Every time you say hi to my stepdad, he always responds with "You got it, you got it man."

When I'm talking to someone I always say "Man" or "Bro" at the end of my sentences =/

When talking to my mom she always says "Hmmm, really?" at least three times during the conversation.
