Muir Woods National Monument...Absolutely amazing!

Sequoia National Park is really nice too, but I think that if I ever go to Hawaii I would probably find a place to equal or even top those two...

^ Ooh, you mentioned an aquarium! The Monterey Bay Aquarium is by far my favorite, followed by the Atlanta Aquarium, and then probably the Boston Aquarium...Oh and has anyone else here been to the Hayden Planetarium before (the new one, not the old one)? God that was AMAZING!

I love aquariums. I think the best I've been to was Churumai in Okinawa (they have whale sharks!!!), but I really enjoyed the Montery Bay Aquarium too. Sea World is always fun too. Nothing like hand feeding gluttonous dolphins .

Atlanta Aquarium used to have a whale shark, but then one day it was getting checked out by its vets and it suddenly up and died...Twas very odd. Odd indeed...

A village in the Owen Stanley Ranges (New Guinea) called Tetebede. There was no electricity etc. I went there as part of a scientific team studying birds. I loved the whole country, including Port Moresby. I would like to go back one day, but I don't think it is possible (finances mainly).
