Why do the threads get locked after people begin fighting, and arguing? Is it fair to shut it down, I mean it doesn't hurt anyone to leave it open, right? It happens more with the hard issues, and I think that it's lame that they shut it down, just because people trade their ideas with foul language, and stupid responses, that should not matter, its their opinion. I don't know what lame person decided to create such a rule that any thread that gets out of hand will be shut down, it's just really dumb.

It makes perfect sense. If you post something offensive on someone else's forums that goes against the rules, the owner of the forums has the right to delete/lock the thread/post that was made.

The mods are fair whenever they lock the threads.

If the people who posted in the forums would read the rules of said forum and adhere to them, then the threads wouldn't get locked. However, they don't read the rules or they do and break them anyway. Thats what gets threads locked. The rules are there for a reason. Therefore, its what has to be done. It is perfectly fair and I wish people would stop complaining about it already because its not going to stop.

Edit: for those of you who claim it isn't fair - get over it, life isn't supposed to be fair. And btw - this is in the wrong section.

you want the threads full of naruto and bleach thread?

usually when a thread is locked it was the right decision... like 95% of the time

but I have noticed a few thread that didn't need to be locked but it happens and it's better to have a few threads needlessly locked then to have a bunch floating about that are extremely offensive or pointless

Reasons why threads get locked

1. More duplicate threads cause more traffic in the site

2. If we cannot take out all flaming replies, the thread will be locked in order to take out all of it.

3. All rules are created to keep this site alive.

4. We are the people who keep this site clean from spammers and flamer

5. Sometime we do make mistake, but it's not going to effect anyone if you can tell us why it should not be locked.

This thread is a complaining thread, which is unacceptable
