HIya, just finshed watching the show (up here in Canada we're on an hour tape delay) and just thought to put the 2 cents of the show since they're a bit longer on a thread if that's alright. For those wanting the show results there are a few sites; I'll use one of my sources for my comments:

http://www.f4wonline.com/content/view/5770/105/

-ECW got of course even more of the shaft winning only 1 pick. I will say at least moving Matt Hardy and the US Title (and it will stay there since if Chavo wins at the PPV it's still in ECW) will help with guys Matt can work with like Shelton, Morrison, Kofi, Evan Bourne and so forth. BTW on a side note I was off after all on the Hardyz moving and didn't even think of both moving. That was like the shortest reunion to date that ended with the two beating on each other in the show's ending Battle Royale...one other note I must say, now all can witness HOW HORRID MIKE ADAMLE is! I used to ONLY get ECW on TV and he's a butcher to announcing. Note tonight's mistakes included saying ECW had no picks yet when Matt had been picked already, and calling Umaga "The Samoan Bulldog..." I do still love how everyone picks on Adamle, rightfully so, like Mick did when he said calling a match with him "a monumental task" and Adamle thought that was a compliment.

-RAW was as Tazz put it best "that kid who took all the good kids for softball teams...give us SOMEONE!" I was surprised not that CM Punk moved but that he went to RAW rather than Smackdown, but I guess as I said in my predictions, this might be due to ECW going to now be on the road with RAW's crew so Punk can do both shows when needed. Um OK got Kane moving correct but I was erroneous that Mark Henry is facing him at the PPV for the title (I know they're sort of some three feud that includes the actual opponent for Kane this Sunday, Big Show). Just someone explain to me, even if the ECW title is weak, HOW A RAW AND SMACKDOWN GUY ARE FIGHTING FOR IT?! Got Batista moving to RAW correct so expect him to now have a few new feuds like Orton, HHH, Cena and possibly continue the ones with HBK and Y2J. Rey Mysterio was also a right pick for me and once again good to get Rey back into the spotlight. Finally the possibly biggest deal was teh swap of announcers, with WWE pulling the trigger to make Michael Cole the #1 announcer and now on RAW. Good luck on that one. That meant...

-...Smackdown got Jim Ross and he was the most hurt if you saw (no talent were even told of any moves). I must say RAW got the best talent on the picks thus far (more on http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/wwedraft2008/ if we get more picks of lesser talents) but Smackdown now has the best announcing crew of JR and Mick Foley easily. They also got Jeff Hardy, Umaga (which has been talked for months anyways and the lone for sure move that was supposed to happen), Mr Kennedy (wasn't he just there like recently? Oh well.) and...HHH?! Well Vince does like to show us smarks online, doesn't he? Well we shall see, as a draft a while ago HHH was also drafted to Smackdown...all of one day since he got traded back to RAW on Smackdown which tapes the next night. I won't be convinced until the week is out that he gets it, that the move helps him big time with fresh feuds and also he's doing it to be the big seller when Smackdown moves to MyNetworkTV (I think I got the name right this time...)

Other notes include:

-Now ECW only has the US title no matter what after the PPV (I'm giving my early picks here, saying Matt retains over Chavo), but not its ECW Title (sigh...I guess Kane will retain for the sake of a prediction)...Smackdown for now has both World titles but one or both could move pending if Cena and/or Batista win their matches (I was going to say both titles won't change hands but now with how the draft occurred I'm now going with Edge retaining and Cena regaining the belt to return it to RAW). RAW still has its Women's title (I say Mickie retains over Katie Lee Burchill but the feud goes on), Tag Titles (I am counting on Ted Dibiase Jr. and his mystery partner winning over Cody and Holly, and that eitehr Cody will turn before or after the match) and IC Title (yeah it means nothing due to no defences, but at least Y2J against HBK will now make it a great PPV, best feud going on right now too). Smackdown only has left its Tag Titles (sadly I see Finley and Hornswoggle beating Miz and Morrison to return it to Smackdown since Miz and Morrison Are ECW for now...) and its upcoming Divas belt. Oh if you don't know or didn't keep track, the Cruiserweight Title is retired a while back on their website to Hornswoggle...I really hate that troll...

-FInally Vince on the 1 year anniversary of the tragedy in Atlanta and when he did this angle of sorts, once again was nearly killed, basically being his out of the Million Dollar giveaway and now making the story once again "Who wants to kill Vince?"

Well there you go, have a good night folks!

I can't believe Mysterio, Batista & CM Punk are on the brand that I hate the only thing good that came out of the draft is that HHH is on smackdown

I was real suprised from this Draft. Before the picks were made, I kept taking little guesses of who was going to get picked, and I actually got every pick, except two or three, right. It was a real exciting night to watch.

And, back in 2004, I believe, Triple H was drafted to Smackdown, but he didn't fight a single match, because Eric Bischoff (RAW GM in 2004) put the Dudleys and Booker over to Smackdown for Triple H. Now, I hope HHH can have a great carrer on Smackdown.

^ Lol. xD

@tambayman: I was shocked as well when he got drafted to ECW. I thought the Hardys would reunite on Smackdown. Blame it on Miz and Morrison.

OK checking here and usual sources like http://www.f4wonline.com/content/view/5788/105/ and http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/wwedraft2008/7505418/ Just some quick thoughts for the online draft picks and post-Monday

-To say the most upset was Jim Ross is putting it lightly. He blogged that he was close to retiring or simply leaving WWE and that would have been disasterous. He's upset particularly on how next Monday's show was planned by him with it in Oklahoma his hometown, and he got talent in to work for free since he'd be there. He'll still be there but for now not announcing. Once again between this and the how some are pointing to the tastelessness of WWE going ahead with an accident angle with a person on the TNA crew recently killed legit, it shows it's business first and class second...

-HHH seems to be staying on Smackdown due to being on a schedule that works for his baby being born and such so it's a lock now. I will say it's for the best for both him and the company going ahead.

The Supplemental Picks:
-Carlito to Smackdown: He's run his course on RAW and might actually get some decent exposure on Smackdown as a secondary heel.
-Finley and Hornswoggle to ECW: Makes us even MORE confused as they are going for the SMACKDOWN tag titles against fellow ECW guys Miz and Morrison...so now the ECW title and Smackdown Tag Titles will be owned by guys not of the show AND remember, RAW and ECW will be together on the road and Smackdown will be on its own come the Fall so both make NO sense...though sense is not a forté of the writing crew of late...
-Shelton Benjamin to Smackdown: OK it's a fresh start for him as it's been a bit since he was here but what about the feud with Kofi Kingston?! Are they going to finish that one which was actually a good one on ECW or forget about it?
-Maria to Smackdown: I did say some Divas were bound to move but am surprised it's only her.
-Matt Striker to RAW: He was already lost on ECW so I see jobberland moreso for him on RAW, lol.
-Brian Kendrick to Smackdown: Wait...he was on the RAW roster?! I haven't seen him in ages to note it. Too bad they didn't move Paul London with him but at least one half of this talented duo will get a chance for more exposure on Smackdown now.
-Chuck Palumbo to RAW: Does anyone care? I guess that "epic" Palumbo/CM Punk feud can continue...
-Super Crazy to ECW: Perfect move as he's an ECW Original and with the smaller guys on ECW, expect more super matches.
-DH Smith to Smackdown: Again this one baffles me! We had thought DH might be Ted Dibiase Jr. partner for the RAW tag title match but now that's out the window. I have no clue what they want to do with DH after he failed on the Wellness Program a while ago and the reunion of the Hart Foundation (DH, TJ Wilson, Natalya, Jim Niedhart and Teddy Hart) fell through once Hart screwed up again and got fired...
-Deuce to RAW: Well at least now for sure that tag team is done for. I just don't see either him or Domino doing well as singles but I could be wrong if one or both get a new gimmick.
-Big Daddy V to Smackdown: Again does anyione care, lol? Um...he can feud Taker?
-Trevor Murdoch to Smackdown: A good move since Cade needs him away as he gets a push as Jericho's partner in crime. Murdoch can start fresh now as a singles wrestler in the midcard.
-Jamie Noble to RAW: Again I am confused and disappointed with this move. He is better suited to ECW and will also get lost on RAW in jobberland...
-Mark Henry to ECW: Good, he sucks and less time on TV the bettter. I guess he can feud the non-ECW champ between Show and Kane or a three way for the title...joy...

ADDED: I guess the draft is going on now so I'll add mroe comments until it's done. BTW apparently now the move of Henry was also to make the PPV match a triple threat now, so I sadly expect Henry to become the new ECW champ.

Layla to RAW: OK there we go, a Diva full swap now.
Kofi Kingston to RAW: Umm for one, isn't RAW already stacked, does it really need MORE plundering of the ECW and Smackdown rosters?! Two, I thought Kofi would better benefit from more experience gaining on ECW, now I'm worried he too might get lost in the shuffle unless put into that IC Title mix.

Am not trying to be a downer but this doesn't impress me with the draft now done. I just hope the main draft picks get the programs fresh again so we get good matchups and stories we'll care to see. Ta!
