Sadly my bff is the true drawing artist in my life and she can draw a masterpiece in a matter of seconds even though she hates them....and i'm not exaggerate her talent she gets like ten million commissions a day but just so you guys dont think i'm bragging just know that she practices everyday for many many hours and has done this for so many years.
I myself am a photographer (*cough*look at my profile*cough*) and i can spend up to a good hour editing one picture but once again i do it every day and i get paid occasionally to do it professionally. it really depends on how long you've drawn and how often you practice.

For me
minutes if it's a simple one.

1hour-3hour if it's a really good one with details.

It does vary on the speed that you work as.

when i draw, i usually draw seriously (meaning i dont just sketch, i put my time into it), which takes about 1-2 hours.....depends on how much detail and how many people im drawing.

I'm an artist. x3 And it really does depend on what you're drawing. It can be from 5 minutes to a couple of days.

Like... a simple chibi will be 5 minutes, but if you want a really nice full body pose with a good BG, it can take days. xDD For me, at least. The slower I draw, the better it looks. ^^

When i draw it will take me about an hour and a half but then i am never happy with it so i usually go back and keep adding to it, then i will work on the shading but i wont be happy with that so ill rub it out and do it again. so in total i would say that it takes about 3 hours to do a proper picture with shading, line, tone and contrast.
