Since I haven't watched Boys Over Flowers, I've been wondering why Kim Bum and Kim So Eun seem to be more-liked (or bigger stars) as a couple than Lee Min Ho & Koo Hye Sun.

Generally, it's because this couple is something new to the MG/HYD/BOF series. In the other two dramas, Kim Bum's character and KSE character does not have many love scenes where as in BOF, the producers are definite in their choice of creating the couple. I mean, for me, it's definitely an attractive part to the series to see a new couple that's so fresh and sweet.

I like GaEul and Yi Jung. Best couple of the series. But that doesn't mean that I don't love Goo Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di. They were just more expected and feel less like a "new" couple to everyone.
