Which city in Japan is the most beautiful to you?

Feel free to elaborate on why you chose that city.

If you like futuristic traits and technology, Tokyo would be the place.

But if you like the tranquil kind of setting, Kyoto would be better.

Kyoto is quite a bad choice sometimes as a traditional city because it's fairly modern too. It's a portion of what would have happened to Japan if it wasn't bombarded by American bombers.

If you want traditional, I think Nara would make a nicer choice.
